The following Op-Ed is written and submitted by Paul Plante.
Recently, I received an e-mail from the Cape Charles Mirror, checking in to see if I was still walking the planet after an absence of posting, which gesture on the part of the CCM to check in with me, an elderly disabled veteran who lives alone out in the countryside, was very much appreciated.
My response as to not posting was that there is so much bull**** being literally heaved at us from all directions at once by the Biden regime to cover over Joe’s cratering poll numbers, and the fact that Joe is actually trailing Trump in the polls, with Americans rating the economy under Trump as being far better than it is under Biden and his signature, eponymous Marxist economics scheme labeled “BIDE-O-NOMICS” ( see, CCM, August 13, 2023, “Op-Ed: On BIDE-O-NOMICS” http://www.capecharlesmirror.com/op-ed- … s/#respond ) that it has been impossible to sort it all out before the next barrage came raining down on our heads, so that I have been living in a continued state of disbelief and WTF as to what passes for “government” at the federal or national level in this country under BIDE-O-NISM, which is Joe’s Americanized version of Stalinism in the Soviet Union under Joe Stalin.
Consider, for example, a recent 1945 article 1945 by Tyler O’Neil, the managing editor of The Daily Signal, titled “The Insidious Way the Joe Biden Forces Staff to Preach DEI” on 30 October 2023, where we were informed as follows about how Joe is imposing BIDE-O-NISM on the American people through the agency of the federal government which Joe has dictatorial and autocratic control over through his executive orders, to wit:
Promoting the gospel of diversity, equity, and inclusion isn’t an extracurricular activity at the Department of Commerce — it’s an essential part of every employee’s job, according to a new memo obtained by The Daily Signal.
end quote
Now, if that is not a serious case of WTF, then what is?
And it is actually so bizarre that it is way beyond WTF over into the area of the extreme absurd, and to see how that is, let us go back to the article, as follows:
If the hard-nosed economists at Commerce don’t preach about institutional racism or display their preferred personal pronouns in their bios, they will face adverse action from their superiors.
end quotes
Display their preferred personal pronouns in their bios?
HUH?
Can this **** be for real?
But of course it is, as we see by going back for more, to wit:
The department is institutionalizing the Left’s ideology through its employee performance reviews.
According to the memorandum dated Oct. 16, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility activities are an essential part of every employee’s work at President Joe Biden’s Commerce Department, which is run by Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo.
“The inclusion of DEIA activities in a performance plan and critical element signifies that these duties are of such importance that acceptable performance in these activities are required for acceptable performance in the position,” the memo, available on the Commerce Department website, states.
https://www.commerce.gov/cr/programs-an … pport-deia
https://www.commerce.gov/hr/practitione … -inclusion
“The attached implementation guidance explains where and how the standardized DEIA language must be incorporated into performance plans.”
The document lists eight options for an employee’s “Supervisory Support Activity,” directing staff to “Select at least one support activity to be inserted as a credible measure and performed in correlation to the DEIA performance requirement.”
Half of the options for Commerce Department employees read like a list of requirements for a DEI convert to prove his devotion to a pseudo-religious cause.
Each of these requirements advances the Left’s intersectionality narrative: American history is a story about the oppressed and the oppressors, and therefore it is the government’s job to even out the scales.
Blacks, Hispanics, women, LGBTQ individuals, and others are “oppressed,” “marginalized,” or “underserved,” and therefore the government must prioritize them according to their skin color, sex, sexual orientation, or claimed gender identity.
This DEI agenda amounts to a pseudo-religious ideology, complete with a cast of heroes and villains, an original sin of oppression, and its own mantras, such as “Black Lives Matter!” and “Trans Women Are Women!”
When Commerce requires its employees to “lead or support an initiative to raise awareness and emphasize the value of” DEI, that often translates to “become an apologist for the narrative that America is institutionally racist, sexist, transphobic, and oppressive.”
Although diversity, equity, and inclusion sound like laudable goals, DEI training for employees forces the Left’s narrative time and time again.
Commerce’s requirements amount to a loyalty oath for employment, enforced by performance reviews.
Further down, the document presents “Performance Language Implementing Guidance” that appears to require all employees to accept the basic idea of gender ideology — that a person’s gender identity overrides his or her biological sex.
According to this document, employees must “participate in available DEIA training,” take part in employee resource groups, and “include preferred name and pronouns in your Microsoft Outlook employee email signatures and Microsoft Teams settings.”
Supervisors must ensure “subordinate employees’ use of correct names and pronouns, both written and verbally, to help foster a workplace free of discrimination and harassment.”

So, yes, people, to say that I have been left speechless by this incredible bull**** is the height of understatement, indeed.
And once again, thanks to the Cape Charles Mirror for being here in its capacity as a GRAND PALLADIUM of our liberty by providing us a forum in which to discuss this absolute weirdness that is infecting our government at its highest level.
Thanks for the update, Mr. Plante! I had started to worry about your absence until you started posting last week. Don’t go away again!
In all truth, Mr. Green, I am finding myself more and more incredulous (unwilling or unable to believe something) and disbelieving as the days go by, as to what passes for “government” in this country today at all levels, which sense of disbelief has rendered me nearly speechless these days, as how can someone, anyone, for that matter, rationally analyze the irrationality that assails us on all fronts today here in this sorry excuse for America.
In his Fabius IV political essay 235 years ago on May 19, 1788, John Dickinson, a man trained by scholars who used his knowledge to think for himself, something we no longer have in this country, and who was known as “The Penman of the Revolution” because he was able to put on paper the thoughts and ideals which formed the foundation for our brand new country, stated that as American citizens, which I no longer think we are, for many reasons, it is OUR collective DUTY to watch, with the eyes of a hawk as I was taught when young, and OUR RIGHT to take care that OUR Constitution be preserved, or in the Roman phrase on perilous occasions — to provide that the Republic receive no damage.
Except we no longer have a Republic.
The Republic as I once knew it is dead and gone, not to return in our lifetimes, such as what are left of them.
Consider Nancy Pelosi on that very subject in an article in The Messenger titled “Pelosi Blasts No Labels: ‘I Can No Longer Remain Silent’” by Kayla Gallagher on 4 November 2023, to wit:
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., says she “can no longer remain silent” about her concerns with the group No Labels making a potential presidential bid.
“No Labels is perilous to our democracy,” Pelosi told reporters at a breakfast event with Third Way, a Democratic-centrist group.
“When they jeopardize the reelection of Joe Biden as president of the United States, I can no longer remain silent on that,” she said.
end quotes
Think about what she is saying there about how she can no longer remain silent on the fact that she considers No Labels to be perilous to our “democracy,” not our Republic, because they, in her words and her view, jeopardize the reelection of Joe Biden as president of the United States, keeping in mind that she is one of the most powerful politicians in this country, while I am among the most powerless, and were it not for the beneficence (the quality or state of doing or producing good) of the Cape Charles Mirror, I would be absolutely powerless, period.
In her opinion, and consider that her statement about No Labels being in her words perilous to our “democracy” because they jeopardize the reelection of Joe Biden as president of the United States, was NEVER challenged by anyone, even in that very article, ONLY Joe Biden can be the president.
As an American citizen, at least in my mind, I find that to be an extremely dangerous statement and position for her to take, but in this version of America which exists today, HO HUM, BIG DEAL, WHO CARES, because that is the natural order of things and the way things should be, that we should be ruled by an autocratic dictator, because that is really what “democracy” means – ONE MAN RULE.
I started my blogging career as an American citizen on the former John Kerry forum in 2004, which I thought at the time, however naively, revolutionized communications between ordinary citizens in America in ways unseen or likely unheard of since the Forum of Rome in the Republic of Rome.
What I observed during my stint with that forum was the fact that even then, at least in that forum, intellectual liberty, which is to say our right to both seek and receive information from all points of view without restriction, which liberty provides for free access to all expressions of ideas through which any and all sides of a question, cause or movement may be explored, did not exist because of those who were the “moderators” did not allow any criticism whatsoever, however valid, of John Kerry as a presidential candidate.
Any contrary comments were quickly removed by the “mods,” with the offending party who posted them being banned from further participation in the discussion.
From there, I went to a forum called CommonGroundCommonSense, where there was no common sense present that I could see, while so-called common ground was determined by the same “mods” who came over from the John Kerry forum.
That was during the time that Hussein Obama was first running for president, and as was the case with John Kerry, that forum became a Hussein Obama site where no criticism of Hussein was allowed, contrary to a 1919 opinion of United States Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis wherein was stated that suppression of ideas worked a great hardship on society, which happens to be all of us in America, regardless of race, color, creed or national origin.
Another well-respected Supreme Court Justice at that time named Oliver Wendell Holmes rested his First Amendment views on what he called the “marketplace of ideas,” reasoning that because we cannot know immediately which ideas are good and true and useful and which are not, we must let them vie against one another in the faith that after full exposure and discussion, the truth will win out, which has the motive behind my blogging efforts and posting in here over the years I have been associated with this publication, which is unlike any other in America that I am aware of.
Supreme Court Justice Brandeis saw free speech as an essential aspect of citizenship in America, and according to his view, men and women in America both had the duty to be good citizens, which means being informed on the issues confronting us.
Mused the Justice, how can individuals make intelligent decisions about those issues without having basic information about them?
How can citizens, which means all of us, judge which side has the better argument unless we can hear both sides of an argument and then join in the debate with facts?
Justice Brandeis thus provided a positive justification for protection of speech, that being the necessity for the citizenry, which happens to be all of us here in the United States of America, to be fully informed about issues and to be aware of all viewpoints.
But as Nancy Pelosi was making incandescently clear in that Messenger article on 4 November 2023, in her America today, and it is far more hers than ours, that is no longer the case, and no one seems to care!
So at that point, and there is where I see us, what is the sense of speaking out anymore?
People hear what they want to hear and disregard the rest.
In a recent TWEET on mindless TWITTER by Joe Biden, he stated as follows:
“There is truth and there are lies.”
“Lies told for power and for profit.”
“And each of us has a duty and responsibility, as citizens, as Americans, and especially as leaders – leaders who have pledged to honor our Constitution and protect our nation — to defend the truth and to defeat the lies.”
end quotes
When it is Joe Biden himself who is telling us all those lies, and they have been coming fast and furiously these last so many weeks, it has become nearly impossible, if not totally impossible, to do that – defend the truth and to defeat the lies.
Hence my silence in here these last so many weeks!
THANKS FOR CARING!
So where are we, people?
Oh, right!
The MIGRANT CRISIS.
But seriously people, is it really?
Or is it something that is happening BY INTENT on the part of the Democrats for political purposes, and because the Democrats see it as a way to make some coin by following the admonition of Rahm Emanuel, Chief of Staff for Hussein Obama when Joe Biden was vice-president that “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste and what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before?”
First of all, the political exploitation of immigrants by the Democrats is a very well known tactic that goes back in time to the Democrat’s Tammany Hall days in New York City under the corrupt “BOSS” Tweed, a subject that used to be taught in high school history classes.
Consider the Britannica article on the subject titled “Tammany Hall
American political history” last Updated on September 15, 2023 where we learn as follows, to wit:
Tammany Hall, also called Tammany, the executive committee of the Democratic Party in New York City historically exercising political control through the typical “boss-ist” blend of charity and patronage.
In 1805 the Society of St. Tammany obtained from the state legislature a charter of incorporation as a benevolent and charitable body to give relief to members and others.
Politically, the Democratic Party was organized as an apparently distinct body, but the society’s sachems controlled the political mechanism and prevented hostile factions from meeting in the society’s building, Tammany Hall.
In the 1830s the pressures exerted by the Workingmen’s Party and its successor, the Equal Rights Party, forced the general committee of the Democratic Party to oust the banking and merchant leaders.
The election of a grand sachem, Martin Van Buren, as president of the United States in 1836 added to Tammany’s prestige.
Within a few years, however, the immigrant groups, organized into gangs, came under the control of the astute, unscrupulous, and engaging Fernando Wood, several times mayor of New York, who used them to break with and later control Tammany.
Grand Sachem “Boss” William M. Tweed initiated complete boss domination of the Hall in 1868.
Corruption reached a climax under Tweed, when New York City was plundered of more than $200 million.
Tweed died in jail, but most of his confederates retained their wealth.
Throughout the world, Tammany became synonymous with corruption and was the subject of some of Thomas Nast’s most effective cartoons.
And as Wikipedia informs us with respect to exploiting immigrants for political gain, Tammany Hall served as a social integrator for immigrants by familiarizing them with American society and its political institutions and by helping them become naturalized citizens with one example being the naturalization process organized by William M. Tweed, where under Tweed’s regime, “naturalization committees” were established.
These committees were made up primarily of Tammany politicians and employees, and their duties consisted of filling out paperwork, providing witnesses, and lending immigrants money for the fees required to become citizens.
In true Democrat fashion, judges and other city officials were bribed and otherwise compelled to go along with the workings of these committees, and in exchange for all these benefits, immigrants assured Tammany Hall they would vote for their candidates, so that by 1854, the support Tammany Hall received from immigrants would firmly establish the organization as the leader of New York City’s political scene.
So there we have the political template being followed by the Democrats today, albeit it on a national scale.
But these immigrants are also seen as a money maker for the Democrats, as well.
Think I’m kidding, people?
Not a joke!
And for some proof of that assertion, let us simply go to an Albany Times Union article by Joshua Solomon on October 30, 2023 titled “DocGo faces class-action lawsuit filed on behalf of jilted investors” where we learn as follows on that subject, to wit:
ALBANY — Investors have filed a class-action lawsuit against DocGo after the mobile health care company’s stock tumbled following reports of government investigations into its handling of a $432 million migrant services contract and the resignation of its CEO, which was prompted by an admission he lied about his professional biography.
end quote
Yes, people, INVESTORS, which means rent seekers seeking to make some money off this MIGRANT CRISIS they themselves created to exploit.
And what a truly murky and sordid story this is, as can be expected of the Democrats, which takes us back for more, to wit:
The lawsuit alleges DocGo’s top officials engaged in a fraudulent scheme and a “reckless disregard for the truth,” which artificially inflated the publicly traded company’s value.
A spokesman for DocGo did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the lawsuit.
The plaintiffs, investors in the company from November 2022 to September, are seeking to recoup their financial losses on DocGo’s stock.
The lawsuit details news reports that coincided with the company’s declining value, with its most substantial loss following a Times Union story revealing that the company’s CEO, Anthony Capone, falsified his professional biography and repeatedly lied about details on his resume.
Following the newspaper’s report, Capone resigned.
The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of New York on Friday.
Capone took over as CEO on Nov. 8, 2022 and resigned on Sept. 15.
He stepped down after New York City Comptroller Brad Lander announced his office would conduct an atypical “real-time audit” of the company’s $432 million contract.
As the controversies mounted, DocGo’s stock fell by more than a third of its value, or more than $3 per share.
The contract with New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development has led to DocGo overseeing the care of thousands of migrants, about half of whom are scattered throughout hotels upstate.
DocGo is required to provide housing, casework, food, access to medical care, security and other services typically offered at a homeless shelter.
New York City is required by a 1981 consent decree to provide shelter to anyone in the city in need of those services.
The lawsuit was filed by the law firms Pomertantz LLP, of Manhattan, and Portnoy Law Firm, of California.
Both firms previously issued news releases announcing they were investigating filing a class-action lawsuit on behalf of what they said were investors wronged by DocGo.
The lead plaintiff is Joe Naclerio, who possessed 500 shares of DocGo that were purchased between November 2022 and March.
The lawsuit alleges there may be hundreds of thousands of other investors who have been financially harmed and would qualify to have their interests represented in the class-action case.
The lawsuit alleges DocGo senior leadership had “knowledge of the details of DocGo’s internal affairs.”
The defendants had “both the motive and opportunity to commit fraud,” according to the complaint.
“They also had actual knowledge of the misleading nature of the statements they made, or acted in reckless disregard of the true information known to them at the time,” the lawsuit alleges.
Last month, the Times Union reported that the company’s CEO had not attended the graduate university he stated he went to or earned a master’s degree, as he told investors.
The institution where he previously said he earned his undergraduate degree also could not confirm he graduated from there, although Capone said he does have a degree from an accredited university.
Capone told investors at an August conference about his alleged graduate degree in artificial intelligence when discussing his prior role as the company’s chief technology officer.
He had touted how DocGo’s artificial intelligence technology set it apart from its peers.
“I’ve been with the company since pretty much the beginning,” Capone said at the Aug. 9 conference.
“But the most important thing to understand is why all of that works — why we can scale so rapidly, 30, 40 percent growth year-over-year, why we can deliver care to some of the most difficult, challenged populations, why we can do so with a high degrees of efficiency and generating good returns for the investors that have taken risks on DocGo is because of our technology.”
“And that’s where I really came in originally,” Capone continued.
“We started the company” I was our chief technology officer.”
“My graduate degree is in computational learning theory, which is a subset of artificial intelligence.”
Capone’s comments at the conference included other misrepresentations, which the newspaper previously reported.
Despite his assertion the company was bidding for a $4 billion contract for medical services at the southern border, multiple sources familiar with the contract, including a spokeswoman for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said the contract was for about half of that value.
A spokesman for the company contended the contract was worth $4 billion but refused to provide evidence to support that claim.
“These are facts,” spokesman Michael Padovano had said, but added he was not “at liberty” to share further information.
Capone also described a health insurance plan in which “we have already signed up over 3,000 asylum seekers onto New York state Medicaid through UnitedHealthcare.”
Padovano said the company does not enroll anyone onto health insurance.
After the newspaper reported his falsified professional biography — misrepresenations that were on the company’s website, a resume Capone attached to a COVID-19 services procurement document with New Jersey and in a filing with the U.S. Security Exchange Commission — DocGo announced that he had stepped down and would be replaced as CEO.
Capone has since been brought back to work at the company through March as a consultant for about $225,000, according to a public filing by the company earlier this month.

Yes, people, America – the land of never-ending investor scams, but this story of making money off of immigrants continues, so please, stay tuned for more is yet to come!
So, as we consider this Docgo fiasco, or perhaps more appropriately, investment scam, here is a question with respect to these illegal immigrants being allowed into our country by Joe Biden as an investment opportunity, to wit:
WHAT IS AN INVESTOR?
And that answer is a person or organization that puts money into financial plans, property, etc. with the expectation of achieving a profit.
And a profit, of course, is defined as obtaining a financial advantage or benefit, especially from an investment.
So we have people investing in Docgo with the expectation of making money off the deal.
But what is the “deal” they are going to make money off of?
And here is where it gets really murky.
To understand what is going on here, we have to understand that these people here in our country illegally are entitled to free housing and free food, and of course, somebody has to provide that free shelter and free food, and that is where the profits are going to come from.
Now, finding out all the details is difficult here, because last spring, NYC officials raised eyebrows when they declared a state of emergency and awarded DocGo a $432 million no-bid contract to house migrants and provide them with services including case management, medical care, food, transportation, lodging and round-the-clock security.
And two years ago, on November 8, 2021, DocGo’s common stock and warrants began trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbols “DCGO” and “DCGOW”, respectively, which means that Docgo is a for-profit company.
And who caused the “emergency” that required NYC to award a for-profit company a $432 million no-bid contract to house migrants and provide them with services including case management, medical care, food, transportation, lodging and round-the-clock security?
Why, that would be Joe Biden, of course.
Stay tuned.
Think I’m kidding, people, about there being HUGE COIN to be made thanks to this MIGRANT CRISIS created by Joe Biden and the Democrats?
Not a joke!
And for some proof of that assertion, let us go to an Albany, New York Times Union by Joshua Solomon on September 1, 2023 titled “DocGo in the running for $4 billion contract for migrant services – DocGo CEO says NYC migrant work helps the company’s multi-billion dollar bid for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol contract,” where we have more on that story, as follows, keeping in mind that Docgo’s migrant work in NY was as the result of a no-bid contract worked out in typical Democrat fashion in a smoke-filled backroom somewhere in the bowels of NYC, to wit:
ALBANY — DocGo CEO Anthony Capone is seeking to turn a $432 million migrant shelter contract with New York City into a $4 billion contract with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to provide health care for those crossing the border.
And as part of the work, Capone said his publicly traded company is signing up migrants in its care for Medicaid plans.
Becoming their primary care provider, he said, can yield monthly member reimbursement for the company.
Capone detailed how his for-profit company stands to benefit financially from the shelter contract during a one-on-one interview last month at the Canaccord Genuity 43rd annual growth conference, which is held by an investment banking and financial services company.
“We did this, in large part, because it gave us all of the credibility to win the Border Patrol” contract, Capone said.
“Now that we are one of the largest care providers for asylum seekers in the country, it gives us enormous credibility.”
“And we have references from the city who handles the largest amount.”
Capone expects the federal contract to be awarded this month.
The five-year contract is for providing medical services at the southern border.
DocGo recently submitted its application, Capone said, after working on it for about eight months.
The federal government previously awarded the contract, but a company formally protested the award, restarting the bid process and, as a byproduct, giving DocGo a second chance with the New York City migrant work to cite at the top of its resume.
“We have all this expectation now,” Capone said.
“Our application is a lot stronger.”
The comments from Capone came as DocGo has faced intense public scrutiny over its New York City migrant shelter contract.
Gov. Kathy Hochul has been skeptical of the company’s handling of the migrant services, which has included busing thousands of migrants upstate and putting them in hotels.
The office of Attorney General Letitia James launched an investigation related to the DocGo contract, which includes an order to the company to cease any limits on the free movement or speech of the migrants in its care.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, after initial reports that called into question DocGo’s work, said while the city will “scrutinize them,” he has confidence in the company that has done a “herculean job.”
“City officials are well-aware of this program’s success as exemplified last week when Mayor Adams reiterated his confidence in our partnership during a press conference where he praised our work, describing it as a herculean effort to help the city with this humanitarian crisis,” Capone said during an investor call on Aug. 7, in which the company reported record earnings over the last financial quarter.
Two days later, Capone sat down for a 25-minute interview at the Canaccord Genuity conference, where he explained the company’s business plan with the migrant crisis.
Asked whether the company expects a dip in revenue after its $432 million contract with New York City expires, Capone said he had a “high degree of confidence” it will stay strong.
“Just look the macro factors here,” he said, pointing to the political gridlock around the southern border.
“There’s almost no chance that there’s going to be federal legislation which solves this problem,” Capone said.
“Almost none.”
“All you have to do is understand the dilemmas with each one of the solutions and know that it will not happen.”
“It’s certainly not happening before the next election cycle.”
“But I doubt it will happen ever.”

Which means the cash flow generated by Joe Biden’s intentional MIGRANT CRISIS is guaranteed to go on forever, and meanwhile, with respect to who is really putting the money in the pockets of these investors, we learn from an article in The Hill titled “White House says assistance to New York for migrant influx depends on Congress” by Nick Robertson on 08/26/23 that as of that date, Joe Biden, the creator of this MIGRANT CRISIS politically-connected Docgo is cashing in on, the we, the American people have already sent $140 million in federal funds to New York City assist migrants, the largest amount for any city not on the U.S.-Mexico border, to make sure that these illegals have better treatment than an American citizens, with respect to free housing, free food and free medical care.
And such is considered “EQUITY” today in the America of Joseph Robinette Biden, Junior!
But please stay tuned, because there is more, much more, yet to come.
I don’t know about anybody else either in here, or out there, but as an older American with knowledge of this country’s history from its earliest days to the present, as well as the history of other civilizations back through history, including of course, the Romans, and the Greeks, and the Chinese, I can’t believe how far down this nation has come in terms of intelligence and knowledge in my lifetime of a little over three quarters of a century, to the point of where nothing anymore transpiring in this sick and sorry nation with all of it many crises and national security issues, and this present incumbent reminds me of that point in Ayn Rand’s “Atlas Shrugged,” itself a story of a society in the same state of decline as is now going on in America when the incompetent Mr. Thompson was the chief executive of that fictional version of America which so resembles this actual version of America today.
And since we are dealing with Joe Biden’s self-created MIGRANT CRISIS, let’s consider these following words in a TWEET on mindless TWITTER by Democrat big dog Charley “Chuck” Schumer @SenSchumer, to wit:
The Acting Head of the Border Patrol @CBP just confirmed to me that the vast majority of migrants coming to the United States are NOT criminals.
These are human beings fleeing danger.
They deserve to be treated humanely and with respect.
end quotes
Human beings, people?
My goodness, but aren’t we all?
And that TWEET by Charley “Chuck” in turn brings us to an article in the Albany, New York Times Union by Joshua Solomon on October 4, 2023 titled “Colonie police arrest numerous migrants at shelter hotel – Charges range from assault to robbery as a series of incidents, including knife fight and alleged rape, unfold at migrant hotel,” where we learn about these migrants that the Acting Head of the Border Patrol @CBP had confirmed to Charley “Chuck” were NOT criminals, but ordinary human beings instead, as if human beings could not be criminals of any kind, which is ridiculous thought, because every criminal is in fact a human being, to wit:
COLONIE — Colonie police have made a series of arrests in the past week at a Wolf Road hotel where more than 100 migrants have been staying since May.
The charges have ranged from misdemeanor assault to felony assault and rape allegedly committed by a non-citizen who was working at the hotel but not staying there under the migrant sheltering program.
Another arrest was made off-site when a Venezuelan migrant staying at the hotel was charged with assault and robbery after allegedly attacking employees at a nearby mobile wireless service store where he was accused of smashing items and forcibly taking money from the cash register.
That person also had been arrested twice in New York City over the summer for charges of assault and forgery, before being transported to the Colonie hotel as part of New York City’s migrant relocation program, police said.
end quotes
This, people, is so DEMOCRAT, so Joe Biden, and so Charley “CHUCK” Schumer – just some ordinary human beings here, people nothing to be concerned about, because these are not criminals, they are human beings fleeing danger and so they deserve to be treated humanely and with respect, even if we who are their victims are not in return treated with respect by them.
Going back to that story of Joe Biden’s beloved migrants, we have more as follows, to wit:
Deputy Police Chief Robert H. Winn said another incident over the weekend resulted in the arrest of two migrants on assault and weapons possession charges when they allegedly brandished knives during a fight that broke out during a party.
On Thursday, another Venezuelan migrant was charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly striking his girlfriend with a set of keys, according to police.
In the rape case, the suspect is accused of entering the room of a hotel patron and sexually assaulting her.
About 2,000 migrants are staying at hotels across upstate New York under the oversight of DocGo, a publicly traded health care company that was awarded a $432 million no-bid contract by New York City for the services.
The company has faced intense public scrutiny for its taxpayer-funded care of migrants, criticism which officials there reject.
Migrants were bused to the Albany area after initially going through an intake process in New York City, which has had a right-to-shelter consent decree with the Legal Aid Society since 1981.
Migrants are housed by the city while they are effectively homeless, as they are unable to work lawful jobs while they await to potentially seek asylum.
New York City officials did not initially respond to a request for comment about whether it was notified of any incidents involving police this past week.
DocGo is contractually required to immediately notify the city of any incidents involving law enforcement, including providing a detailed description of the incident and a follow-up plan.
“The spate of crimes reported in the Times Union are troubling and shine a light on how unfeasible it is to drop migrants who can’t legally work or drive at suburban hotels far from needed support services,” state Sen. Jake Ashby, R-Castleton, said in a statement.
Ashby, whose district includes the SureStay hotel, renewed his push for a special legislative session that his fellow Republicans want.
The town had previously filed code violations against the Wolf Road hotel where busloads of migrants from New York City had been dropped off since late May, prompting an unrelated legal battle in state Supreme Court between Colonie officials and Mayor Eric Adams’ administration.
Court records indicate two code violations were served over the summer on Amandeep Dhillon, whose family owns the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western at 200 Wolf Road, where dozens of migrants have been living since Memorial Day weekend.
Additional busloads of migrants from New York City arrived there on Thursday and late Sunday; there are now more than 100 migrants staying at the hotel, including at least 50 children, according to town officials.
The SureStay’s operators are accused of violating a town ordinance that prohibits guests from staying in a hotel for more than 28 consecutive days.
A second violation filed in Town Court accuses hotel officials of refusing to allow Deputy Police Chief Robert H. Winn to review the guest registry when he went there June 30.
The 28-day lodging limit and the ability of town police or building department officials to review hotel registries were both enacted in town ordinances adopted about seven years ago.
Dhillon previously declined to comment and referred comment to his attorney, Todd E. Soloway, who did not respond to a request for comment.
The court records in the code violations’ case, which has a return date of September, indicate Winn was assured several months ago by Anthony Capone, the former chief executive officer of DocGo, a company hired by New York City to help facilitate the transportation and lodging of thousands of migrants, that the first group at the SureStay hotel would not remain there for more than 27 days.
An affidavit attributed to Winn in Town Court says his conversation with Capone took place May 27, the same day that Winn told the general manager of the hotel about the town’s 28-day lodging limit.
In June, Winn said he had visited the hotel periodically and “personally observed security guards associated with DocGo and other individuals residing at SureStay, indicating the ongoing presence of (the) same individuals at the SureStay for more than 28 consecutive days.”
Capone resigned from DocGo last month following a Times Union story that reported he had lied about his professional biography.
The newspaper also reported that Capone misrepresented information about the company’s business plan to investors.
On June 19, according to Winn’s affidavit, he said the hotel manager told him it’s “in the hands of counsel for the hotel” when the deputy chief called him and reminded him of the town’s occupancy rules.
Winn said that on June 30 the hotel declined to provide him with a copy of its guest registry.
In an interview, he said that attorneys for the hotel’s operators told him they would not provide that list unless he had a search warrant.
The standoff between the town and the Wolf Road hotel is unfolding as Colonie is also involved in litigation in which multiple counties have filed lawsuits or issued executive orders seeking to block New York City from relocating migrants in their communities without ample notification and coordination.
The crisis in New York City has continued and multiple cities across the U.S. are seeing a similar influx as record levels of migrants continue to cross the southern border.
New York City’s attorneys have also accused the local communities of citing a false narrative that they are being burdened by the presence of the migrants.
The city, and the state of New York with the assistance of federal aid, have been assuming the fiscal responsibility for the migrants’ lodging, transportation and food.

Yes, people, we, the AMERICAN PEOPLE who are federal taxpayers, or taxpayers in New York state, and who have to provide for ourselves with respect to food and lodging, are the ones paying the freight for this FIASCO created by Joe Biden and his pack of Democrats.
But people, sleep sound tonight knowing that that is how EQYUITY works in Jor Biden’s America today – from those who have to those who want what the others have and have Joe Biden there to get it for them.
And talk about outright contempt for law and order and the public’s safety by Joe Biden and his pack of Demo0crats who are spitting in our eyes with this MIGRANT CRISIS they created so as to have yet another CRISIS they can now milk for all it is worth as they ship these migrants they let in to the country around like cattle, let us go back for the moment to the article in the Albany, New York Times Union by Joshua Solomon on October 4, 2023 titled “Colonie police arrest numerous migrants at shelter hotel – Charges range from assault to robbery as a series of incidents, including knife fight and alleged rape, unfold at migrant hotel,” where we have as follows concerning these migrants that the Acting Head of the Border Patrol @CBP had confirmed to Charley “Chuck” were NOT criminals, but ordinary human beings instead, to wit:
Another arrest was made off-site when a Venezuelan migrant staying at the hotel was charged with assault and robbery after allegedly attacking employees at a nearby mobile wireless service store where he was accused of smashing items and forcibly taking money from the cash register.
That person also had been arrested twice in New York City over the summer for charges of assault and forgery, before being transported to the Colonie hotel as part of New York City’s migrant relocation program, police said.

That, people, is frankly incredible and totally irresponsible, which two wo9rds serve to describe the totality of the federal government today under Joe Biden and the Democrats – NOT WORTH A DAMN!
SO YES, PEOPLE, LET’S SHIP THESE CRIMINALS AROUND IN OUR COUNTRY AND STICK THEM IN OUR COMMUNITIES SO THEY CAN COMMIT THEIR CRIMES AND DO HARM TO US WHO HAVE THE ADDED INDIGNITY OF HAVING TO PAY FOR THESE CRIMINAL’S FOOD AND SHELTER WHILE JOE BIDEN LETS THEM RUN FREE TO COMMIT THEIR CRIMES INSTEAD OF INCARCERATING THEM BECAUSE TO JOE BIDEN, CHARLEY “CHUCK” SCHUMER AND THE DEMOCRATS, THEY ARE SPECIAL, AND DESERVING OF ALL OUR LOVE AND AFFECTION BECAUSE UNLIKE US AMERICAN CITIZENS, THESE CRIMINALS ARE HONEST-TO-GOSH HUMAN BEINGS!
And thanks to the United States Supreme Court, it has now been proven conclusively that feeding off the taxpayers is not a federal offense, while at the same time, we, the American people, have no right to expect honest services from our public servants, which means there is no bar to public servants at the federal or state level giving us dishonest services instead, given that bribes are really the grease that keeps the machinery of government running smoothly, which takes us to an article in the Albany, New York Times Union by Joshua Solomon on October 7, 2023 titled “DocGo often billing twice what it’s paid for staff in NYC migrant contract –
Publicly traded health care company stands to profit off crisis under $432M contract,” where we learn about how this DocGo really makes it money off these migrants while if feeds off the federal taxpayers thanks to Joe Biden, to wit:
ALBANY — A security company posted an ad with Craigslist in search of a “dedicated and vigilant” credentialed security officer, who will “play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties.”
The top benefit?
A “competitive salary” of $22.20 per hour working for the Bronx-based A&H Security Services.
Anyone who secured an interview could potentially land a job patrolling hotels where migrants have been sheltering for months under the oversight of DocGo — the publicly traded company that secured a no-bid $432 million contract with New York City in May.
The catch?
DocGo can bill New York City $50 an hour for security guards, according to a copy of the contract obtained by the Times Union through a Freedom of Information Law request.
The low wages and high billing rate is part of a pattern for DocGo under its contract with New York City to oversee thousands of migrants upstate and in the New York City area.
DocGo often bills the city twice what it pays employees, according to a review of job postings as well as interviews with both current and former employees and immigration advocates familiar with the company’s work.
The discrepancies raise additional questions about whether the city, and by extension the state, are getting a good value for taxpayers at a time when budget officials have called for either cuts or freezes in future spending — as a result of extraordinary public expenditures resulting from the immigration crisis.

HUH?
The discrepancies raise additional questions about whether the city, and by extension the state, are getting a good value for taxpayers at a time when budget officials have called for either cuts or freezes in future spending as a result of extraordinary public expenditures resulting from the immigration crisis?
Are these people crazy?
Are they insane?
NO, THEY ARE NOT GETTING A GOOD DEAL FOR TAXPAYERS, NOR DO THE Y GIVE A DAMN, FOR THE TAXPAYERS ARE THERE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF GETTING FLEECED IN ORDER TO PUT PROFITS INTO THE POCKETS OF THE INVESTORS INTO DOCGO, SO THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!
Going back to the story, it continues as follows, and again, keep in mind that we are talking about a no-bid, sweetheart political deal here, to wit:
Government contracts with nonprofits do not typically involve a 100 percent markup for services, even when accounting for insurance and other additional costs.
But DocGo is a not a nonprofit, even though it’s doing the type of work normally handled by that sector.
If the contract was competitively bid, and not awarded on an emergency basis, the markup for services would be heavily scrutinized by a comptroller, said John Kaehny, executive director of Reinvent Albany, a good government group.
Kaehny, who previously specialized in contract procurement, lamented about the dynamic in place instead, which has proliferated since the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Both the governor and the mayor still have extensive powers to enter into contracts without basically any review,” Kaehny said.
“And DocGo is a classic example of why that’s a bad thing.”
Mike Garcia, with A&H Security Services, declined to comment on Friday.
Typically, companies contracted to work with DocGo agree not to speak negatively about the company as a condition of being their subcontractor.
A DocGo spokesman, Michael Padovano, described the analysis as “overly simplistic” and said it “does not accurately reflect the services being provided throughout New York.”
“It does not address the myriad of complexities associated with an effort of this size and scale — from overhead costs, technology systems and rapid deployment expenses to the nuances of regional market rates and the assumption of risk for future uncertainties,” said Padovano, who is contracted by DocGo and works for the public relations firm 5WPR.
Padovano said that the rates “reflect reflect both the operational demands and unique challenges of this ongoing humanitarian crisis, including the urgency, scale, and continuous 24/7/365 service delivery.”
The DocGo spokesman did not dispute the pay rates for employees.
DocGo is hiring a field supervisor in Schenectady for $25 to $28 an hour, which is far less than the $83 an hour it can bill under its contract for supervisors.
DocGo’s subsidiary, Rapid Reliable Testing, was hiring a licensed practical nurse for $37 an hour in Albany, when it can bill for $90 an hour.
Caseworkers working for a subcontractor, Platinum Community Care, are making between $24 and $28 an hour, according to a person familiar with the matter; DocGo can bill $75 an hour for caseworkers.
Officials with New York City did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
City officials previously defended the rate being paid to DocGo for hotel rooms — $170 per night.

Yes, people, that’s the way you do it here in Joe Biden’s brave new world where we have homeless veterans Joe Biden doesn’t give a damn about living on the street, you feed off the taxpayers, because, hey, that’s the reason they exist, as sheep to be sheared!
So how are these migrants Charley “CHUCK” Schumer calls human beings, as if we born here American citizens are something else other than human beings who the Biden administration is shipping around the country at taxpayer expense like cattle really being treated for the exorbitant money being paid to investors that we are being charged to treat them?
For a glimpse at that answer, let’s go to an Albany, New York Times Union article by Maria M. Silva and Steve Hughes on October 24, 2023 titled “Migrants decry poor conditions at Rotterdam Super 8 motel” where we learn as follows from the perspective of the migrants the Biden administration treats like cattle, to wit:
ROTTERDAM — A group of at least 20 asylum-seekers staying at a Super 8 motel in Rotterdam protested outside the building Monday evening over their mounting frustrations with their treatment.
The migrants said they are frustrated with delays in processing their immigration paperwork and described poor conditions at the motel, including allegations of bed bugs, a lack of heating, water or medical assistance.
The group spoke to two Times Union reporters in Spanish as they stood along Carman Road holding signs written in English laying out some of their complaints.
“There are people inside the hotel who are afraid because the woman in charge, the director of the hotel is threatening us that if we go out, they’re kicking us out of the program,” one of the migrants said.
All of the migrants at the protest who spoke with the Times Union asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation from employees of DocGo, the company that New York City contracted with to oversee the massive influx of arrivals in the city.

Yes, people, this is the humane treatment for these people we are paying for, at top dollar that the Biden administration is providing for them, but let’s go back for more, to wit:
Among the migrants are Venezuelans and Colombian nationals.
Some of the migrants who spoke on Monday said they are frustrated with the lack of information about their cases and the workers at the hotel who are supposed to be helping them.
“Honestly, what we want is to work so we can be independent and give our children a good future,” one woman said.
“We really need an ID, paperwork, something that identifies us.”
“We are in a lot of need.”
end quotes
Aren’t there a bunch of actual Americans in a lot of need, as well?
Going back for more, we have, to wit:
Some of the complaints mirror those voiced by migrants at other area hotels overseen by DocGo.
Last month, New York City officials said DocGo was “refining” its operations.
The state attorney general’s office previously told DocGo to cease any limitations on the freedom of movement or speech of migrants under its care.
DocGo has severed ties with two security companies it had employed but were found by the state Department of State to not be properly licensed.

What a slipshod operation this is, which is the HALLMARK of anything and everything Joe Biden gets his hands on or gets involved with, which again takes us back to that story, to wit:
Early this month, the Times Union reported that a longtime immigration attorney, who is representing at least eight migrants in the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Albany, said staff at the DocGo-run shelter sought to deny the ability of his clients to be represented by outside counsel for their work authorization application.
DocGo did not respond Tuesday to requests for comment on concerns at the Rotterdam Super 8.
The migrants arrived at the Rotterdam motel in July, two months after New York City began sending hundreds of migrants upstate.
It is one of the motels in the Capital Region hosting migrant children, with more than five dozen enrolling in the Mohonasen school district.
The other migrants are housed in motels in Colonie and Albany.
The protesters said many of their complaints are about the lack of care the children are receiving.
Many of them are sick and their parents are frustrated that they can’t work to earn money to buy basic medical care.
About a half dozen children without coats rode bicycles in the motel parking lot.
Area nonprofits have been collecting and distributing donations to get the migrants basic supplies.
“I haven’t been to the doctor,” one woman said.
“I requested an appointment last month because my kid has a toothache and you know when they gave it to me?”
“For Nov. 30.”
“Tell me what I should do.”
“We asked everybody: the director, the supervisor, nobody does anything.”
Another concern is the quality of food the migrants are served.
They described being supplied with frozen meals that they compared to dog food.
They use an outdoor fountain for drinking water and are often asked to switch rooms because the hotel is dealing with a bedbug infestation, they said.
“It’s like a chess game.”
“One day, we’re in one room and the next day, we’re in another (room) because bed bugs are everywhere,” one woman said.

Yes, people, thanks to the Cape Charles Mirror, we are getting a real education here as to how the Biden administration is using these migrants as nothing more than pawns in a political game that is looting our treasury to enrichen investors in Joe’s money-making scheme called the MIGRANT CRSIS in America, a CRISIS created by Joe Biden and the DEMOCRATS to be milked for all it is worth.
And while we are on the subject of feeding off the taxpayers being no crime in Joe Biden’s America today, coupled with us having absolutely no right whatsoever to an expectation of honest services from public servants and officials in the Biden regime, to see how this MIGRANT CRISIS SCAM cooked up by Joe Biden and the Democrats to enrichen some POLITICALLY-CONNECTED INVESTORS in this country at taxpayer expense as Joe and the Democrats run these non-citizen MIGRANTS around the country as if they were cattle, which is what they are to Joe Biden and the Democrats who see them as the CASH COWS they really are, allows this politically-connected DocGo outfit to feed off the American taxpayers while helping Joe and the Democrats to loot our treasury to their benefit and our detriment, let us go back for a moment to an Albany, New York Times Union by Joshua Solomon on September 1, 2023 titled “DocGo in the running for $4 billion contract for migrant services – DocGo CEO says NYC migrant work helps the company’s multi-billion dollar bid for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol contract,” where we this following to consider, to wit:
ALBANY — DocGo CEO Anthony Capone is seeking to turn a $432 million migrant shelter contract with New York City into a $4 billion contract with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to provide health care for those crossing the border.
And as part of the work, Capone said his publicly traded company is signing up migrants in its care for Medicaid plans.
Becoming their primary care provider, he said, can yield monthly member reimbursement for the company.

Signing up these illegals in its care for Medicaid plans and thereby becoming their primary care provider, can yield monthly member reimbursement for the for-profit POLITICALLY-CONNECTED DocGo company with its NO-BID CONTRACT so that DocGo can make a profit for its INVESTORS?
How about that, people – these migrants who are here in our country illegally because Joe Biden and the Democrats simply opened our border and allowed them to flood across, no questi0ns asked, are entitled to Medicare paid for by the American taxpayers, and meanwhile, we read in a US News &World Report article titled “Paperwork Causing Many Americans to Lose Medicaid Coverage, White House Warns” by Cara Murez, HealthDay Reporter, on July 31, 2023, as follows:
MONDAY, July 31, 2023 (HealthDay News) — Large numbers of Americans who were dropped from Medicaid this spring lost their coverage because of paperwork problems, and not because they weren’t still eligible for the public health insurance program.
“I am deeply concerned about high rates of procedural terminations due to ‘red tape’ and other paperwork issues,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra wrote in a letter sent Friday to all governors, the Associated Press reported.
The changes are happening now because a prohibition on removing Medicaid coverage during the pandemic has now been lifted.
States have now begun doing annual eligibility redeterminations.
Among 18 states that began this review in April, about 1 million people continued to receive their health coverage, the AP reported.
Another 715,000 lost that coverage, but in 4 of 5 cases that was for procedural reasons, according to data from the federal U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Becerra encouraged governors to make efforts to keep people on Medicaid, including by using electronic information from federal programs, such as food stamps, to confirm eligibility.
Many may be “caught in a bureaucratic nightmare of confusing forms, notices sent to wrong addresses and other errors,” said Michelle Levander, founding director of the Center for Health Journalism at the University of Southern California.
The AP and health care advocacy group gathered data showing that about 3.7 million people already have lost Medicaid coverage, including about 500,000 in Texas, 400,000 in Florida and 225,000 in California.
In California, 89% of those cuts were for procedural reasons.
That was true also for 81% in Texas and 59% in Florida, according to the AP.
Even though people who were incorrectly dropped can regain their coverage if they prove eligibility within 90 days, there are still issues, according to advocates.
“State government is not necessarily nimble,” Keesa Smith, executive director of Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, told the AP.
“When individuals are being dis-enrolled, the biggest concern … is that there is not a fast track to get those individuals back on the rolls.”
end quotes
And the moral of that story is that if you want good benefits provided for you, it is really better to be in this country as an illegal alien than it is to be here as a citizen.
And thanks once again to the Cape Charles Mirror for affording us this rare opportunity to examine in detail this MIGRANT CRISIS that has been intentionally created by Joe Biden and the DEMOCRATS as a money-making operation in perpetuity, which to Joe and the DEMOCRATS, means forever, as they treat these migrants like cattle, shipping them here and there, while denying them humane treatment, including making them, in the words of the migrants, have to eat dog food as their means of sustenance.
Think I’m kidding, people, when I say this is a SCAM?
Not a joke!
And for proof of that assertion, let’s go back to an Albany, New York Times Union by Joshua Solomon on September 1, 2023 titled “DocGo in the running for $4 billion contract for migrant services – DocGo CEO says NYC migrant work helps the company’s multi-billion dollar bid for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol contract,” where we have the CON MAN Anthony Capone bragging to investors about how successful his operation was, and why it was a good investment to get in on the ground floor of, to wit:
ALBANY — DocGo CEO Anthony Capone is seeking to turn a $432 million migrant shelter contract with New York City into a $4 billion contract with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to provide health care for those crossing the border.
“Now that we are one of the largest care providers for asylum seekers in the country, it gives us enormous credibility.”
end quotes
One of the largest care providers for asylum seekers in the country?
Do tell, dude, except from what we have been reading in here, these migrants you are feeding off of courtesy of the American taxpayers are virtual prisoners of yours who are getting substandard care for the exorbitant fees you are charging for their care, including having then eat dog food.
“And it gives us enormous credibility?”
With the Joe Biden regime, it does, but not with the rest of us in this country footing the bill for this SCAM, which takes us back for more, to wit:
“But I doubt it will happen ever.”
end quotes
And it won’t happen, people, because Joe Biden and the DEMOCRATS DO NOT want it to happen, because right now, this MIGRANT CRISIS is a real solid moneymaker for too many people to bring it to an end, which takes us to a New York Post article titled “Migrant crisis has US taxpayers on the hook for up to $451B, House GOP report says” by Josh Christenson on November 13, 2023, where we have some essential truth about the costs to us as a people and as a nation as a result of Joe Biden’s self-created MIGRANT CRISIS revealed, to wit:
Americans could pay up to $451 billion to care for migrants who entered the US illegally, but have been released into the country or escaped from custody, according to a new report due out Monday from House Republicans and obtained exclusively by The Post.
“Every day, millions of American taxpayer dollars are spent on costs directly associated with illegal immigration and the unprecedented crisis at the Southwest border sparked by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ policies,” the House Homeland Security Committee interim staff report states.
end quotes
And let’s be crystal clear here, people – these are Joe Biden’s policies, or they wouldn’t be happening, given Joe Biden’s autocratic nature which has him a virtual control freak with respect to every single detail of his regime, which takes us back for more, to wit:
“Only a small fraction is ever recouped from the taxes paid by illegal aliens, with the rest falling on the shoulders of American citizens and lawful residents,” it adds.
Compiled from federal and state records, media reports and other public information, the 50-page document outlines the taxpayer costs incurred in medical care, housing, education and other welfare benefits for tens of millions of migrants — to say nothing of the additional costs for law enforcement.
“This report reveals in painstaking detail the dollar costs facing the American people every day that this chaos continues, both in small towns on the border and in big cities like New York,” Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.) told The Post.
The bill for government care and housing could total as much as $451 billion per year nationwide for apprehended migrants and known “gotaways” who have entered the US since 2021, according to figures the House panel cites from the Center for Immigration Studies.
Between 16.8 million and 29 million illegal immigrants currently reside in the US, according to estimates the committee cites from the conservative Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and Yale University, 3.8 million of which have entered since President Biden took office in January 2021.
Mayorkas revealed during a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing last month that more than 600,000 migrants have come into the country in fiscal year 2023 without being apprehended by border agents.
That’s in addition to another 900,000 who entered the US legally and applied for asylum before being released, according to US Customs and Border Protection data.
Biden, 80, asked Congress last month to pass $14 billion in additional border security funding to aid the processing of migrants, reimburse state and local governments and non-governmental organizations and provide other services.

Yes, people, the SELF-CREATED BIDEN MIGRANT CRISIS that will never end as Joe blows though taxpayer dollars like a drunken sailor on a spree in a whorehouse town for which we are getting the bill!
Think I’m kidding, people, when I say that Joe Biden is blowing through our taxpayer dollars like a drunken sailor on a spree in a whorehouse town with all of his many CRISES for which we are getting stuck with the bill?
Not a joke, which takes us to a Reuters article titled “US budget gap narrows in October due to delayed tax payments” on November 13, 2023, where we learn about the real harm Joe Biden is doing to our future as a people and as a nation with his profligate BORROW-AND-SPEND BIDE-O-NISM, to wit:
The report was released on the heels of ratings agency Moody’s announcement on Friday that it had lowered its outlook on the U.S. credit rating to “negative” from “stable,” citing large fiscal deficits and a decline in debt affordability.
It also followed data last month showing the deficit in fiscal 2023, which ended Sept. 30, was the largest outside the COVID-19 era at nearly $1.7 trillion.
Outlays, meanwhile, rose 16% to $470 billion, with a $41 billion year-over-year increase in interest payments on the U.S. government’s debt accounting for about two-thirds of the net increase of $64 billion.
Interest costs have surged since March 2022 when the Federal Reserve kicked off an aggressive campaign to rein in inflation, resulting in the U.S. central bank’s benchmark overnight interest rate shooting up by 5.25 percentage points.
With the average interest rate on the $26 trillion of outstanding Treasury securities up to 3.05% from 2.19% in October of last year, that trajectory is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future, Treasury officials said.
Interest on the debt, at $89 billion, was the second largest outlay in October after monthly Social Security payments of $118 billion.
A year ago, interest on the debt was exceeded by Social Security, national defense spending and the combined total of the government-run Medicaid and Medicare health insurance programs.

And anyone who thinks any of that is good for our future as a nation and as a people has to be a dyed-in-the-wool mindless Democrat and Biden supporter who is an idiotic moron incapable to rational or logical thought.
And here, given that I am an ardent student of history, to see the harm Joe Biden’s self-created MIGRANT CRISIS has in turn created for our nation, what I would like to do is to go to an article published in The Conversation titled “Immigration: How ancient Rome dealt with the Barbarians at the gate” published on February 13, 2019 by Cavan W. Concannon, Associate Professor of Religion, USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, as follows:
A caravan of Goths – the Thervingi and the Greuthungi – were massing along the Danube river, at the border of the Roman Empire.
This was not an invading army, but men, women, and children fleeing the enemy at their backs: a seemingly invincible army of Huns.
The Goths, a coalition of Germanic tribes that were long foes of the Romans, begged to be admitted to Roman territory.
Afraid for their lives, they hoped to find safety on the other side of the river.
The year was 376.
What the Romans did in response to the arrival of the Goths would have profound effects on the history of the vast and powerful Roman Empire.

And what Joe Biden and the DEMOCRATS are doing in response to this flood of migrants from South America who have literally been invited here by Joe Biden and the DEMOCRATS is going to have profound effects on the history of the United States, and let there be absolutely no doubts about that, whatsoever, which takes us back to that article for more, as follows:
As the United States grapples with a polarizing debate over how to manage and police its southern border, a debate that led to the longest government shutdown in history, American policy makers would do well to understand what happened during this tragic moment in Roman history.
end quote
And yes, people, they would do well on our behalf to understand what happened during that tragic moment in Roman history, but you know what?
They won’t bother trying to learn because they do not believe history as happened applies to their actions or to the United States, it being special, and all, which again takes us back to that article, to wit:
Roman border security was historically effective, not because of massive barriers, but because they knew how to manage the flow of migration.
This flow didn’t lead to the collapse of the empire by marauding Germans.
Rather, the flow of migration transformed the Roman Empire into what became medieval society.
Yet the arrival of the Goths in 376 shows what happens when good border policy is ignored.
Ancient Roman border security
To understand how the arrival of these Gothic tribes created a crisis for the late Roman Empire, we have to first start with how the Romans traditionally handled the migration of new tribes into their territory.
The borders of the Roman Empire were constantly in flux and always flexibly managed, owing to the difficulties of policing a huge border without modern technology.
Roman border control rarely made use of massive walls, but depended on natural barriers in the landscape.
This was particularly true on the northern border, which heavily relied on the Rhine and Danube rivers.
Rome’s borders were gradual transitions more than hard and fast lines.
When migrating tribes asked to be admitted to the empire, the Romans tended to follow a fairly standard policy.
Tribes were broken up into smaller groups and sent to underpopulated regions.
They were forced to surrender their weapons, renounce their loyalty to their tribal leaders, and commit a certain number of fighting men to the Roman legions.
These policies had served the empire well for centuries.
By diluting tribal loyalty and disarming the newcomers, the Romans strengthened their economy, increased tax revenue, and swelled the ranks of the army.
Goths at the border
Let’s return to the Goths waiting on the north side of the Danube.
One of our main historical sources about this event is the fourth-century Roman historian Ammianus Marcellinus, whose account is used in this description.
According to Ammianus, one of the Gothic tribes (the Thervingi) sent envoys to the eastern Roman Emperor Valens to ask for admission to the empire.
They wanted their people to settle in nearby Thrace, adding the promise that they would contribute soldiers to the Roman army.
This offer pleased the emperor and the local population.
The Thervingi would offer a strong buffer against other potentially unfriendly tribal groups and would provide soldiers and new tax revenue.
Valens welcomed them to cross over.
That fall, huge numbers of Thervingi crossed the river, which was swollen from recent rains.
They made the journey in whatever boats could be found.
At this point, things went badly for the Thervingi.
Many died during the dangerous crossing.
The Romans allowed more Thervingi to cross than they could supply with food.
end quotes
Which is exactly what Joe Biden and the DEMOCRATS are doing today, so let us take a break for station identification, and when we return we will see what happened to the Romans as a result of their Biden-esque stupidity in that matter, so, please, stay tuned.
This tale of the Germans crossing the Danube onto Roman territory at one time was required knowledge of young Americans like myself in an admittedly different time in America before computers and cell phones, when cautionary tales like this were how knowledge of the past was conveyed (“He who uses a mirror of brass can see to set his cap; he who uses the mirror of antiquity can predict the rise and fall of nations”) to young Americans like myself, so that we would realize what was then deemed an essential lesson that actions by what are too often mistakenly called “governments” can have grave consequences for all of us, this as we watch a YouTube video from our own times thanks to the policies of Joe Biden and the Democrats that has intentionally turned our southern border into a sieve, which video is entitled “Border patrol overwhelmed by influx of migrants” from ABC News, to wit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RuQNGCb5ys
When we last left that story, like Joe Biden and the Democrats are doing today with their MIGRANT CRSIS they are now capitalizing on financially and politically, the Romans had allowed more Thervingi from Germany to cross their border, which was the Danube river at that time, than they could supply with food.
Picking up that story where we left off, it then continues as follows, to wit:
The local Roman military commanders, Lupicinus and Maximus, withheld supplies the emperor had earmarked for the Thervingi and sold them at massively inflated prices.
end quote
Yes, people, the same human nature that persists today, the greed and avarice, existed back in Roman times, as well, this as we watch the for-profit, politically-connected DocGo and its investors reaping a financial windfall at taxpayer expense from Joe Biden’s self-created MIGRANT CRISIS, which again takes us back to the story, keeping well in mind that to date, according to an NBC News story titled “Influx of migrants at border gains renewed attention as ‘crisis’ rhetoric spreads” by Erik Ortiz on October 4, 2023, more than 200,000 migrants unlawfully crossed our southern border in September of this year — a record high for 2023, up from more than 182,700 people who border agents encountered in September 2022 and 142,710 people in September 2021, according to Customs and Border Protection data, to wit:
Ammianus says the situation became so desperate that even the families of Thervingi chieftains sold their sons into slavery for dog meat.
end quote
That as we read in the Albany, New York Times Union article by Maria M. Silva and Steve Hughes on October 24, 2023 titled “Migrants decry poor conditions at Rotterdam Super 8 motel” that a concern of these migrants who have essentially been made property or chattel of this for-profit, politically connected DocGo crowd is the quality of food they are served, which they have compared to dog food.
Going back to the story, it continues as follows:
The Romans saw these migrants from the north as uncivilized and irrational.
It is likely that the Roman commanders felt justified in their bad behavior toward the Goths because of Roman prejudice against “barbarians.”
end quotes
And now, we get to the part where things began to go bad for the mighty Romans, because they were very stupid, just like the people in the Biden regime today managing Joe’s MIGRANT CRISIS, to wit:
Bad treatment, bad outcome
The Romans ignored all their usual protocols for admitting new tribes into the empire.
For some reason, the newly arrived Thervingi were not forced to hand over their weapons, nor was the tribe broken up into smaller units to be dispersed to different regions.
This may have been because the Romans allowed too many Thervingi to cross, leaving Roman military forces vastly outnumbered.
end quotes
This as we read in a CNN story titled “More military personnel head to the US-Mexico border as officials describe an increase in migrant crossings” by Priscilla Alvarez, Ed Lavandera and Ashley Killough on September 22, 2023 that some 800 new active-duty personnel are being sent to the southern border, where 2,500 National Guard members already are serving, according to Department of Homeland Security officials who are failing miserably, as can be expected of everything and anything associated with this Biden Regime to keep our so-called “homeland” secure, which again takes us back to the story, to wit:
The other Gothic tribe massed at the Danube, the Greuthungi, were in a different position.
Valens had rejected their envoys’ request for admission to the empire.
They were as desperate to cross into Roman territory as the Thervingi.
Seeing that the Romans were overwhelmed, the Greuthungi crossed the Danube on their own, further to the east.
As conditions among the Thervingi continued to deteriorate, Lupicinus made a desperate play to keep them in line: He invited their leaders, Alavivus and Fritigern, to a dinner party and promptly took them hostage.
When the Thervingi began to riot in response, Fritigern was able to convince Lupicinus to let him go to calm the situation down.
But having gained his freedom, Fritigern reneged on his promise to Lupicinus and mobilized the Thervingi, who then allied themselves with the Greuthungi.
The result was a unified and massive Gothic army that was now loose and armed in Roman territory.
Thus began six years of war that would devastate the region and leave countless dead, including the Emperor Valens, who died fighting the Goths at the Battle of Adrianople in 378.
The eventual peace brokered with the Goths in 382 by Theodosius I allowed them to settle in Roman territory as a self-governed federation between the Danube and Balkan mountains.
But as an independent state within Roman territory, the Goths never integrated into Roman society and remained a source of political instability.
end quotes
And where today is the Roman Empire?
A bunch of historical ruins, is it not, that today are tourist attractions and curiosities.
Stay tuned!
I live outside the territorial limits of balmy Cape Charles, Virginia, where never is heard a discouraging word and the skies are not cloudy all day, and so since it is not balmy here (global warming hasn’t got here yet), and since it is November, with temperatures at night down in the 20’s, I have to burn wood to keep my house warm (NO, I don’t have a government-mandated heat pump nor do I intend to get one, as they are energy hogs) and to get the fire going, I wad up pages of the Albany, New York Times Union to get the kindling going, and as I was doing that recently, I came across an article by Katherine Kiessling on November 12, 2023, titled “Journalist Margaret Sullivan: Democracy needs strong local news,” which title immediately brought to mind the Cape Charles Mirror, and the role it plays not only in society down here, but across the US, as well, as a source of alternative points of view uncensored by the fascists of FACEBOOK, or TWITTER in conjunction with the DOJ, the FBI, and the Biden white house.
Reading that headline caused me to then do some background research into that topic, given the role of what today is called “the media,” in this country’s political affairs since the days when it was still so many British colonies.
To begin my research, I went to the Technical Publication Series of the Center for Democracy and Governance, whose slogan is “…promoting the transition to and consolidation of democratic regimes throughout the world,” which is a unit of the Bureau for Global Programs, Field Support, and Research, of the U.S. Agency for International Development, Washington, D.C. 20523-3100, and the publication from that series titled “The Role of Media in Democracy: A Strategic Approach” dated June 1999 and Chapter II. DEFINING GOALS: THE ROLE OF MEDIA IN DEMOCRACY, where people in other countries who don’t have democracies are told, to wit:
Access to information is essential to the health of democracy for at least two reasons.
First, it ensures that citizens make responsible, informed choices rather than acting out of ignorance or misinformation.
end quotes
And let us stop there for the moment, people, to explore what has been said there about access to information ensuring that citizens make responsible, informed choices rather than acting out of ignorance or misinformation.
Access to information, especially the plethora we are daily barraged with in this county DOES NOT in and of itself ensure anything, starting with the misguided premise that it will ensure that citizens make responsible, informed choices rather than acting out of ignorance or misinformation.
People who are ignorant will make choices acting out of ignorance, and if they are ignorant, they won’t know misinformation from the truth, which is why there is a concerted effort on this country to keep people grossly ignorant, so they won’t know how to question anything, starting with Joe Biden’s self-created MIGRANT CRISIS, which crisis is worth BILLIONS to Joe Biden, and Joe’s GLOBAL WARMING/CLIMATE CHANGE CRISIS, which crisis is worth TRILLIONS.
And that takes us back to that publication, as follows:
Second, information serves a “checking function” by ensuring that elected representatives uphold their oaths of office and carry out the wishes of those who elected them.
end quote
To this day, and I have been around for over a quarter of a century, I have yet to see an elected official at any level of government uphold his or her oath of office because of “information,” because in truth, an elected official can violate their oath of office all day long, each and every day, because there is no way for a citizen to be able to enforce an oath of office against an oath breaker.
Going back to that publication, keeping in mind that it is the work product of a federal government that does not itself practice what it preaches to other countries, it states as follows, again with respect to other countries, not here, to wit:
Support for media is a critical prong of U.S. democracy and governance assistance.
USAID Strategic Objective 2.3, “Increased development of a politically active civil society,” provides a rationale for media-related programming.
Intermediate Result 2.3.4, “Enhanced free flow of information,” broadly states the Agency’s goal for media activities.
While media is considered by USAID to be a part of the civil society arena, it is well known that media overlaps other functional areas of democracy and governance.
For example, support for media may yield results in governance activities, particularly those related to decentralization, anti-corruption, and citizen participation in the policy process.
The rule of law may be further institutionalized by support for an independent media that keeps a check on the judiciary, reports on the courts, and promotes a legal enabling environment suitable for press freedom.
Free and fair elections conducted through transparent processes require a media sector which gives candidates equal access, and reports the relevant issues in a timely, objective manner.
International conventions buttress USAID’s media activities.
Most notably, Article 19 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights
states, “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive, and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”
Within the context of supporting democratic transitions, the goal of media development generally should be to move the media from one that is directed or even overtly controlled by government or private interests to one that is more open and has a degree of editorial independence that serves the public interest.
If the media is to have any meaningful role in democracy, then the ultimate goal of media assistance should be to develop a range of diverse mediums and voices that are credible, and to create and strengthen a sector that promotes such outlets.
Credible outlets enable citizens to have access to information that they need to make informed decisions and to participate in society.
A media sector supportive of democracy would be one that has a degree of editorial independence, is financially viable, has diverse and plural voices, and serves the public interest.
The public interest is defined as representing a plurality of voices both through a greater number of outlets and through the diversity of views and voices reflected within.
end quotes
And with that stated, for the monent, I will rest.
Staying with this theme of the role the Cape Charles Mirror plays in our REPUBLIC, the REPUBLIC so-called “democracy” in this country, which is really autocracy, or more properly, ochlocracy, which is the rule of government, in this case, our national government under DEMOCRAT Joe Biden, by a mob or mass of people known as DEMOCRATS and IMMIGRANTS and the intimidation of legitimate authorities, in terms of not only keeping us informed, but further, allows for a plurality of voices to be heard, and through the diversity of views and voices reflected within.
And think I’m kidding, people, about a mob or mass of people known as DEMOCRATS and IMMIGRANTS ruling our national government while intimidating legitimate authorities?
Not a joke, as we see from an article in the GOTHAMIST by Raphael Pope-Sussman on Feb. 1, 2017, where we have DEMOCRAT MOB RULE and INTIMIDATION in action right before our eyes, to wit:
Hundreds of New Yorkers braved freezing temperatures Tuesday night on Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza at a rally calling upon U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to take a firm stand against the Trump administration.
The rally was the latest in a series of weekly gatherings poetically dubbed “What the F*ck, Chuck?” outside the senator’s Brooklyn home on Prospect Park West and his offices in Midtown.
As a series of speakers stood on a platform and shouted over a mobile PA system, protesters cheered and jeered as they held signs with slogans like “Buck Up Chuck”; “Resisting Trump Is Your Primary Duty”; and “Filibuster Filibuster Filibuster.”
Hae-Lin Choi, of the Democratic Socialists of America and Resist Trump NY, took the stage first, announcing herself as an immigrant and telling the crowd why organizers had called for the protest.
“We planned this rally to Schumer’s home to help him find the spine and maybe some of the other body parts he needs to grow,” she said, citing Schumer’s early “yea” votes on Trump’s nominees to lead Defense, Homeland Security, and the Central Intelligence Agency.
Choi said organizers were encouraged by Schumer’s announcement in recent days that he would vote no on eight more nominees, but that they see this as a bare minimum, and they intend to keep up the pressure.
“Senator Schumer must be bold and stand with the working class,” she cried over the loudspeaker.
“He has to champion the resistance or get out of the way and we’ll find someone that will.”
As Choi spoke, the crowd chanted, “Stand up, or get out of the way.”.
end quotes
Yes, people, that is what the DEMOCRAT MOB calls “democracy” in this country, and that takes us to an america, gov site called ShareAmerica and an article titled “The importance of an independent press,” which outside of the Cape Charles Mirror, largely does not exist in this country, on March 9, 2023, where we learn as follows, although we really should have known this by the fifth grade, if not earlier, to wit:
Free, independent media allow the public to make informed decisions, hold leaders accountable and hear a diversity of opinions — all free of government influence.
end quote
Yes, people, in an ideal world, which this most certainly is not, that would be the case, but as FACEBOOK and TWITTER proved during the COVID CRISIS, worth $1.9 TRILLION to Joe Biden as a SLUSH FUND, there is no such thing as freedom from government influence, something that was also proven with the now famous BLINKEN NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR’S LETTER claiming falsely the Hunter Biden’s laptop was really
Russian DISINFORMATION, when it was anything but, which NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISORS’ DISINFORMATION served to put Joe Biden into the white house by making Trump out to be a liar.
Going back to the article, it continues:
“Information and knowledge are powerful tools,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said May 2, 2021.
“A free and independent press is the core institution connecting publics to the information they need to advocate for themselves, make informed decisions, and hold governmental officials accountable.”
end quotes
And what a joke that all is, which takes us to a Mediaite story titled “Jim Jordan Says New Testimony Shows Blinken, Biden Camp Behind ‘Infamous’ Letter Smearing Hunter Biden Laptop Story as Disinfo” by Isaac Schorr on 21 April 2023, where we have Tony Blinken caught talking out of the other side of his mouth, to wit:
New testimony released by House GOP leaders sheds light on the role that Joe Biden’s presidential campaign played in smearing the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation.
In an interview with the committee, Michael Morell, the former deputy director of the CIA, testified that he signed onto a letter panning the story — which was published by the New York Post on October 14, 2020 — as likely part of a disinformation operation only after being reached out to by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was then serving as an advisor to the Biden campaign.
end quotes
Now, first of all, despite any blather or codswallop Tony Blinken might spew about a free and independent press being the core institution connecting publics to the information they need to advocate for themselves while holding governmental officials like Tony Blinken and all the national security advisors accountable, the fact is that we don’t have a free and independent press outside of the Cape Charles Mirror to actually do any of that, while Tony was using the gelded and neutered mainstream and legacy media to DENY us information we need to advocate for ourselves, while at the same time, he had the tame media not holding Joe Biden accountable, at all!
Ah, the HYPOCRISY (the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform; pretense), people, but that is exactly the quality that makes Tony Blinken such a good lackey and toady and sycophant for Joe Biden!
Going back to the original post in here, by way of review, I reiterated receiving an e-mail from the Cape Charles Mirror checking in to see if I was still walking the planet after an absence of posting, which gesture on the part of the CCM to check in with me, an elderly disabled veteran who lives alone out in the countryside, was very much appreciated.
And as I stated above, my response as to not posting was that there is so much bull**** these days being literally heaved at us from all directions at once, this CRISIS and that CRISIS, and our national security is in jeopardy, that it has been nigh on impossible to sort it all out before the next barrage came raining down on our heads, so that I have been living in a continued state of disbelief and WTF as to what passes for “government” at the federal or national level in this country under BIDE-O-NISM, which is Joe Biden’s Americanized version of Stalinism in the Soviet Union under Joe Stalin.
But in truth, it really is more basic than that, why I wasn’t posting, and it boils down to a dangerous sense of futility I am experiencing, which occurs when one can no longer see the point in even trying.
Futility is the sense that no matter how much one works at it, in this case posting editorials or comments, nothing will change for the better, so one might as well give up.
And there, quite truthfully, is where I find myself these days, living in a past that is now long gone and largely unremembered, or it has been canceled altogether, which leaves me possessed of a cultural context that no longer exists along with a vocabulary of words that no longer have meaning, so that communication itself has become nigh on impossible.
People hear what they want to hear, from those from whom they want to hear it, and they disregard all the rest.
People also comprehend only that which they have the intellectual capacity to comprehend, and absent that intellectual capacity, there is no comprehension, at all.
And here, with my reference to Joe Stalin above here, and STALINISM, a term no longer known and no longer taught today, is where to me this whole system of communication in this country breaks down today, because we have no single cultural context in this country today, nor do we operate from a common base in terms of citizenship, which is a very empty word today.
And in support of that statement, as well as what underlies my sense of futility, consider that GOTHAMIST article above here by Raphael Pope-Sussman on Feb. 1, 2017, where we had REAL STUPID AND IGNORANT DEMOCRAT MOB RULE in action right before our eyes, to wit:
Hundreds of New Yorkers braved freezing temperatures Tuesday night on Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza at a rally calling upon U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to take a firm stand against the Trump administration.
end quote
Now, those of you who like me have been educated in detail as to the structure of what our national government was supposed to be, think about all of what is stated in that one sentence there for a moment, and what it means to us and our future as a nation, keeping in mind that according to Lord Tytler, a Scottish Historian, the average age of the world’s democracies is around 200 years, and after two hundred years, the nations collapse due to various economic policies to be followed by a dictatorship, which is where I have us right now in this country with AUTOCRAT Joe Biden and all of his EXCEUTIVE ORDERS that govern literally every aspect of our lives, including what you can or cannot cook your supper on tonight, and what kind of car you have to drive, and on and on and on, seemingly without end.
According to that article, in February of 2017, which is six (6) years ago now, for an idea of how deeply VERY STUPID has become entrenched in our so-called citizen body, hundreds of very ignorant and real stupid New Yorkers came out in freezing temperatures on Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza to screech their little hearts out at a rally calling upon then-U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer to take a firm stand against the Trump administration, as if US senators were in fact nothing more than gobs of PUTTY for screeching and howling mobs of DEMOCRATS to mold and shape as they desire, which Charley “CHUCK” Schumer, now the TOP DOG in the senate, to our detriment as a people and as a nation, clearly was and is.
And in what system of government do US senators take firm stands against a presidential administration because a screeching, howling mob of DEMOCRATS demand that they do so?
And how ignorant and uninformed do hundreds of people have to be, to believe that US senators like Charley “CHUCK” Schumer, who obviously lacked the spine to stand up to the howling mob, come to heel for them at their beck and call?
Or more properly, when spineless, gutless and caitiff US senators like Charley “CHUCK” Schumer do come to heel like a trained pet dog for a screeching, howling mob of real stupid people, what does that really say for what used to be our REPUBLIC, and our future?
As to why we have, or had a senate, according to the United States Senate itself on its website, and truthfully, with Charley “CHUCK” Schumer in charge of that body, who can believe a single word any of them say, in a series of political essays written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay, signed as “Publius,” and published in 1788 as The Federalist, the writers explained how the new Constitution — dividing the government into three equal branches — would preserve the Union, reconcile differences among states and political factions, and promote a common welfare, while carefully controlling power through a system of checks and balances.
All of which has subsequently been sadly proven to be nothing more than PIE-IN-THE-SKY dreaming on their part.
As the senate website says, of the 85 essays the trio authored, seven dealt specifically with the Senate (Nos. 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 75, and 76), while others (such as 51) discussed the Senate as part of the broader definition of a federal government that included a bicameral legislature.
Writing in the Federalist Papers, James Madison explained the unique nature of the Senate and the cautious, deliberative role it was supposed to play in American government.
In Number 62, James Madison eloquently stated, as follows, to wit:
The qualifications proposed for senators, as distinguished from those of representatives, consist in a more advanced age and a longer period of citizenship. . . .
The propriety of these distinctions, is explained by the nature of the senatorial trust; which, requiring greater extent of information and stability of character, requires, at the same time, that the senator should have reached a period of life most likely to supply these advantages. . . .
end quotes
Stability of character, people?
Senatorial trust?
Charley “CHUCK” Schumer?
Not happening, people!
Going back to Jemmy Madison, he continues on as follows, and this is relevant to these times today we are now in, with a totally worthless, unresponsive, unaccountable national government in this country, to wit:
. . . The necessity of a senate is not less indicated by the propensity of all single and numerous assemblies, to yield to the impulse of sudden and violent passions, and to be seduced by factious leaders into intemperate and pernicious resolutions. . . .
All that need be remarked is, that a body which is to correct this infirmity, ought itself to be free from it, and consequently ought to be less numerous.
It ought moreover to possess great firmness, and consequently ought to hold its authority by a tenure of considerable duration. . . .
. . . The mutability in the public councils, arising from a rapid succession of new members, however qualified they may be, points out, in the strongest manner, the necessity of some stable institution in the government. . . .1
end quotes
Today, regardless of some infantile pipe dream Jemmy Madison had back in 1788, we DO NOT have what can be considered any stable institions in what is laughingly called our national government, when it is nothing more than a national clown show, which takes us back to the senate website, as follows:
Madison clearly recognized the need for a smaller, more deliberative body in the legislative branch to cool the passions and control the urges of democratic masses.
end quote
Control the urges of democratic masses?
Oh, really!
Then what was all of this, if not the urges of democratic masses:
As Choi spoke, the crowd chanted, “Stand up, or get out of the way.”.
end quotes
Seriously, people, how can anyone use rational methods to deal with that gross ignorance?
Stay tuned.
For the record, not that it any longer makes much difference in this benighted (in a state of pitiful or contemptible intellectual or moral ignorance) sorry nation, where today, people “communicate” by spouting short bursts of largely unintelligible gibberish known as TWEETS, as if people were really some species of bird, or they make videos of themselves spouting ignorant drivel on something called TikTok, I have read each and every Federalist Paper several times now, and as I look at where we are today in this country, versus where the authors of the Federalist papers said we would be, all I can think is how very naive the authors were, mainly Jemmy Madison, and Alexander Hamilton, as Jay was a minor contributor, and if they weren’t naive, but calculating, instead, then they played the people back then like a Stradivarius in order to get a flawed constitution passed in order to give themselves political power they otherwise would not have had, and here we are today, stuck with it.
For his efforts to create this new form of government, which clearly has square wheels on it today, so that instead of rolling along smoothly, it moves it fits and starts, bumping its way along like something you would expect to find in some third-world ****hole, instead of a modern nation, Alexander Hamilton was made this country’s first secretary of the treasury, as we learn from the US treasury website, to wit:
At the inauguration of the constitutional government in 1789 Alexander Hamilton (1757- 1804), George Washington’s former military aide and a renowned financier, was appointed the first Secretary of the Treasury and thus he became the architect of the structure of the Department.
Desirous of a strong, centrally controlled Treasury, Hamilton did constant battle with Thomas Jefferson, then Secretary of State, and Albert Gallatin, then a Congressman, over the amount of power the Department of the Treasury should be allowed to wield.
He designed a Treasury Department for the collection and disbursing of public revenue, but also for the promotion of the economic development of the country.
end quotes
And today, under the leadership of Obama-ite former fed chief Janet “TOODLES” Yellen, a Biden sycophant and toady who serves as a cheerleader for Joe Biden, in addition to talking down to us as if we were all stupid and moronic and ignorant, the treasury is simply there to borrow massive amounts of money at high interest rates to finance the INSANE GREEN DREAMS of AUTOCRAT Joseph Robinette Biden, Junior, to our detriment as a people and as a nation, with us having no say in the matter, whatsoever.
As to “TOODLES” talking down to us while cheerleading for the Biden regime, consider the article in The Messenger titled “Consumers Still Struggle With Higher Prices, Despite Progress on Taming Inflation, Treasury Secretary Says” by Al Lewis on 20 November 2023, where we had “TOODLES” uncaged on center stage, as follows:
Yellen noted that inflation, as measured by the consumer price index, came in at 3.2% in October, down from its peak of 9.1% in June 2022.
“We’re making considerable progress in bringing inflation down,” she said.
end quotes
Now, first of all, people, as to us being considered too stupid by “TOODLES” on behalf of the Biden regime to be able to reason things out on our own without input from Ph.D.’s like her (Note, they only give out Ph.D.’s in this country to the very best and brightest among us, people like “TOODLES” and the bearded buffoon Ben Bernanke, who was fed chief before Hussein Obama made “TOODLES” fed chief instead, because she was pliable, like soft putty which made her a perfect tool for Hussein and now Joe Biden who has selected here for the same reason), to the common person, who really gives a damn that inflation is coming down, as “TOODLES” claims?
As long as there is inflation, already high prices caused by yesterday’s inflation simply get higher and higher, which we see by going back to that article, to wit:
“Although prices in general are rising much less quickly, Americans still see increases in some important prices, including food from where we were prior to the pandemic,” Yellen said in an interview on CNBC.
“But Americans do notice higher prices from what they used to be accustomed to.”
end quotes
Damn right there you are, “TOODLES,” to the point of where the elderly on fixed incomes like myself are simply getting squeezed out of what “TOODLES” calls the MIRACLE BIDEN ECONOMY because we cannot afford to pay the exorbitant prices for what used to be consumer goods, but now are more like luxury items.
Going back to the cheerleading, we have more from “TOODLES” as follows:
President Joe Biden has signed three key piece of legislation – the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS and Science Act and the Inflation Reduction Act – that are investing trillions in the U.S. economy, Yellen said.
end quotes
And there, people, her phrase “investing trillions in the U.S. economy” is pure bull****, because Joe Biden isn’t “investing.”
What Joe has done and is doing with “TOODLES” as his enabler is creating the illusion of an economy that is based on MASSIVE BORROW AND SPEND, and as a result of BIDE-O-NOMICS, in the last fiscal year which ended in September, “TOODLES” and Joe gave us a federal deficit of $1.7 trillion, a $320 billion, or 23%, increase from the prior fiscal year, and the entire federal debt, an eye-watering $33 trillion currently closer to the $34 trillion mark has us, a nation in a serious state of decline, now spending more in gross interest on Treasury debt securities than it does on national defense, according to the Treasury’s latest monthly statement.
Our fiscal year starts Oct. 1, and in the first month the Treasury shelled out $88.9 billion in interest on its debt securities, while the Department of Defense spend $83.4 billion on military programs, and nearly $2 billion is spent every day just in interest on the national debt, according to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.
And that money is not “invested.”
That money is wasted because those interest payments are not productive, and to maintain her massive debt issuance, “TOODLES” is pulling out of the economy money that would otherwise be invested in productive causes, as opposed to keeping the out-of-control Biden regime afloat, with what is essentially a PONZI scheme (a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors).
Going back to “TOODLES” and her cheerleading, the article continues as follows:
“We’ve had responsible investments in the U.S. economy that will have a payoff,” she said.
And as those investments generate jobs and economic activity, inflation appears to be headed lower.
“I think as inflation comes down, prices stop rising, and the labor market remains strong Americans will begin to see that we have made meaningful progress,” she said.
end quotes
See what I mean, people, about “TOODLES” Yellen treating us as if we were really very, very stupid – the majority of the American people are fed up with Joe Biden and BIDE-O-NOMICS, and that even includes Democrats.
And let us pause here for station identification and fifteen solid hours of the very best commercial advertisements modern American marketing can produce to inform us of all the stuff out there waiting for us to purchase it, if we only had the money to do so, and then we will be right back with more, so please, stay tuned.
On this day of Thanksgiving in what used to be our REPUBLIC, before the COUP and OVERTHROW of Constitutional rule by the Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats on 6 January 2021, let me say that I am very thankful that we have Wayne Creed and the Cape Charles Mirror in our lives to give a voice to those of us out here who would otherwise be voiceless in our own country!
And barely are the words out of my mouth in here about being barraged and sensorily overwhelmed by such a BLIZZARD of PURE UNADULTERATED BULL**** from SENILE DEMOCRAT AUTOCRAT Joseph Robinette Biden, Junior, the Biden REGIME to include Janet “TOODLES” Yellen and BIDEN PROPAGANDA MINISTER “BINDER” (aka Karine Jean-Pierre), and the Biden Campaign that has me now living in a continued state of disbelief and WTF as to what passes for “government” at the federal or national level in this country under BIDE-O-NISM, which is Joe Biden’s Americanized version of Stalinism in the Soviet Union under Joe Stalin, as well as experiencing a dangerous sense of futility, which occurs when one can no longer see the point in even trying, futility being the sense that no matter how much one works at it, in this case posting editorials or comments, nothing will change for the better, so one might as well give up, when like a BOMB CYCLONE hitting on Thanksgiving, the intensity of the BLIZZARD greatly increased in magnitude with the airing of a TV ad on Thanksgiving Day during the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day football game, which takes us to a Newsweek article titled “Joe Biden Airs Thanksgiving Ad To Try To Boost Floundering Campaign” by Giulia Carbonaro on 24 November 2023, where we have the latest BIDEN BULL**** flowing quite freely, to wit:
Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign will air a television ad during the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day football game on Thursday as the president tries to boost support in his bid for re-election, which appears to be dwindling.
end quote
Dwindling, indeed, people, as we clearly see from a State Of The Union article titled “Biden’s Job Approval Is Lowest Ever Measured In NBC Poll” by Jordan Andrews on 24 November 2023, to wit:
The latest NBC News poll shows President Joe Biden’s lowest approval rating ever at 40%, with an astounding 57% disapproving.
end quote
According to the article, and nobody who has been following Joe Biden’s pitiful tenure as president and the dog’s dinner (a situation or piece of work that is chaotic, badly organized, or very untidy) Joe Biden makes out of everything he puts his hands on, the significance of that is that is the lowest Joe Biden has ever measured in our poll in terms of job approval, and independents like myself more than two to one disapprove of the miserable and incompetent job Joe is doing, while three times as many Democrats, 21%, more than one in five, say they disapprove.
Going back to Newsweek, that article continues as follows:
Recent polls by The New York Times and Siena College have shown that Biden is losing ground to Donald Trump in five critical states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
That means that the embattled former president — currently the frontrunner in the Republican primary by a huge margin — is ahead in five out of six key battleground states, where voters said they trusted Trump over Biden on tackling issues surrounding the U.S. economy, immigration and foreign policy.
Biden was leading only in Washington, where he had an advantage of two percentage points.
end quotes
So what is Joe’s solution to his falling numbers?
You got it, people, TELL US MORE LIES as if we are stupid enough to believe a word Joe Biden, a notorious serial liar, says about anything, starting out with just how great a person Joe Biden really is, which takes us back to Newsweek, to wit:
The president and Vice President Kamala Harris announced on Wednesday that the one-minute commercial will air during the Lions-Green Bay Packers game on Thursday, in one of those swing states where Biden is trailing Trump, Michigan.
According to the New York Times/Siena poll, Trump would win the state by five percentage points.
The ad, titled “Never Left,” focuses on Biden’s Scranton roots and underlines the Democratic president’s understanding of the struggles of middle class Americans, as reported by The Detroit News.
end quotes
Joe Biden’s Scranton roots?
What rot!
According to Joe’s own bio, Joe was born Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942, and then Biden moved with his family to Delaware in 1953, when Biden was ten, where the family lived in an apartment in Claymont, Delaware, before moving to a house in nearby Mayfield, which takes us back to Newsweek for this burst of pure BIDEN BULL****, to wit:
“He grew up a middle-class kid in a middle-class town,” the ad says, adding that the middle-class town “has never left him.”
end quote
And this is Theater of the Absurd coupled with Opera Bouffe (French comic opera, with characters drawn from everyday life), people, because the so-called “middle-class” town left Joe Biden a long, long time ago, and Joe has never looked back from his multi-million dollar beach house in Rehobeth Beach, nor does he want to, which takes us back to Joe’s bio for this, to wit:
Biden’s father had been wealthy and the family purchased a home in the affluent Long Island suburb of Garden City in the fall of 1946, but he suffered business setbacks around the time Biden was seven years old, and for several years the family lived with Biden’s maternal grandparents in Scranton.
So if Joe moved to Scranton when he was seven years old, and left when he was ten, by my math, he was only there for THREE years as a child, after having spent the first seven years of his life in the affluent Long Island suburb of Garden City, which hardly gives Joe any kind of “middle-class” roots!
And the only reason Joe moved to Scranton was because his father was a failure at business.
Going back to Joe’s bio:
At Archmere Academy in Claymont, Biden played baseball and was a standout halfback and wide receiver on the high school football team.
end quote
Ah. yes, Archmere Academy – tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year is $32,400.
Good old “middle class” Joe, which takes us back to Newsweek as follows:
It adds: “He knows what life is like for working people and knows middle class life is too expensive right now.”
end quotes
See what I mean about a BLIZZARD OF BULL****?
Joe Biden, a professional hack politician who has never worked a real job in is entire spoiled, privileged and entitled life, don’t know doodly-squat about what life is like for real people who do have actual jobs, which again takes us back to Newsweek:
“For Joe Biden it’s about restoring the sense of security working people deserve — that simple promise, that peace of mind.”
“He’s determined to get it back, because of where he’s from and who he is,” the narrator says in the ad that will show at the Thursday game.
end quotes
I’m throwing up in my mouth at this point, so let’s take a commercial break, and after station identification, we will be right back, so stay tuned!
I’ve been alive long enough now, going all the way back to Harry S. “The Buck Should Have Stopped Here But Didn’t” Truman, then Eisenhauer, and JFK, and the Texas Horse’s Ass Lyndon Baines Johnson, etc., so I can remember a time in America when we never heard from American presidents, especially this endless, disgusting and frankly sickening BIDEN BOBANCE (ostentatious or boastful behavior, boasting; a boast; vain display, worldly vanity) we are being constantly barraged with today, which takes us to the Pennsylvania Capital-Star and an article titled “Biden campaign launches new ad focused on the president’s Scranton roots – ‘Never Left’ mentions his connection to middle-class voters and touts some of the administration’s cost-saving initiatives” by Kim Lyons on October 3, 2023 where the Biden HORSE**** does flow forth freely and copiously, to wit:
A new ad from the Biden-Harris 2024 campaign points to President Joe Biden’s upbringing in Scranton as giving him a unique perspective on — and empathy for— the struggles of middle class Americans.
“He grew up a middle-class kid in a middle-class town,” the ad’s voiceover begins, “and while Joe Biden’s traveled far and wide, Scranton, Pennsylvania has never left him.”
end quotes
Joe’s upbringing in Scranton gave him a unique perspective on and empathy for the struggles of middle class Americans?
Get real, people!
According to Joe’s own bio, which very well could be all bull**** like everything Joe says, he was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942.
Then, because Joe’s father was wealthy, the Biden family blew that ****-hole and the family purchased a home in the affluent Long Island suburb of Garden City in the fall of 1946, which means Joe LEFT Scranton when he was FOUR years old.
Then, because Joe’s father was a lousy businessman, he suffered business setbacks around the time Biden was seven years old, which would have been 1949, and for several years the family lived with Biden’s maternal grandparents in Scranton.
So Joe was in the affluent Long Island suburb of Garden City from age FOUR until age SEVEN, which makes THREE years away from the ****-hole of Scranton.
And then Joe moved with his family to Delaware in 1953, which makes THREE more years in Scranton, when Biden was ten, where the family lived in an apartment in Claymont, Delaware, before moving to a house in nearby Mayfield.
So doing some basic math here, Joe spent a whopping SEVEN years in Scranton when Joe was a mere child, so unless Joe was exceptionally precocious (old beyond one’s years) when he was a child, which is highly doubtful because in school, he was an ignorant dullard cruising at the bottom of his classes, when exactly was it that Joe learned any kind of values in Scranton, other than how to be a poor liar?
See what I am talking about here, people?
We are being treated like ignorant fools here with this Biden “NEVER LEFT” ad, because in reality, Joe was ever really there in the first place, and after the age of ten, Joe never went back.
Going back to the Pennsylvania Capital-Star article, it continues thusly, to wit:
Viewed by the Capital-Star ahead of a wider rollout Tuesday, the one-minute spot is titled “Never Left” and will air in Pennsylvania in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Scranton markets.
It’s part of a larger $25 million media campaign that Biden-Harris announced in August and has been rolling out in battleground areas.
“While MAGA Republicans pretend they’re fighting for America’s middle class, President Biden and Vice President Harris are actually delivering,” Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Biden-Harris 2024 campaign manager, said in a statement.
“Whether it’s taking on Big Pharma to cut prescription drug costs, lowering health care premiums for millions of Americans, or reducing energy bills for American families, fighting for the middle class isn’t an empty campaign promise for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris – it’s their political DNA.”
end quotes
The ONLY thing in the political DNA of both Joe Biden and Karmela Harris is spewing ignorance and lies.
For example, a State Of The Union article titled “Belief in the American Dream Has Collapsed Under Biden” by Joseph Ellis on 27 November 2023 informed us as follows as to what Joe’s blundering and bungli8ng anhd ham-handed, short-sighted and inept and incompetent handling of the US economy has produced for the beleaguered people of America, to wit:
A new poll by The Wall Street Journal and NORC reveals that only 36 percent of U.S. voters believe the “American dream” is attainable, a stark contrast to a previous survey where 68 percent agreed with the notion of hard work leading to success.
The poll also found that roughly two-thirds of voters perceive the economy as poor, with concerns about inflation outpacing wages and rising prices.
The “American dream” appeared more unattainable to women and younger respondents, and only 35 percent felt the economy was in good condition.
Despite the administration’s claims, only 14 percent of voters believe the economy has improved under Biden, while 70 percent say it has suffered under his policies.
end quotes
Thanks to Joe Biden, I, who am an elderly disabled combat veteran on a fixed pension, have been forced OUT of the US economy because I can no longer afford to be a part of it.
Going back to this spew of pig **** from Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Biden-Harris 2024 campaign manager, where she tells us the blatant lie that Joe is reducing energy bills for American families, that takes us to a Washington Examiner article titled “Poll: Inflation dominates the list of concerns of registered voters” by Tom Gantert on 27 November 2023, where we reality as seen through the eyes of REAL AMERICANS, meaning those outside the Washington Beltway, to wit:
(The Center Square) – Inflation and price increases are by far the most important issue facing the country.
That’s according to The Center Square Voters’ Voice Poll conducted from Oct. 20-26, 2023, in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights.
The poll data showed that 48% of registered voters said inflation was the most important issue in the U.S.
The poll reported that 95% of registered voters said they have seen prices increase over the last few years with 5% saying they have seen no change.
Among those who reported seeing price increases, 96% said the cost of groceries had increased and 82% said the cost of gasoline had increased.
Another 74% said their utility bills had increased.
One measure of inflation is the Consumer Price Index, which the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics describes as “a measure of the average change over time in the prices paid by urban consumers for a market basket of consumer goods and services.”
The BLS bases CPI on the cost of food, clothing, shelter, fuels, transportation, doctors’ and dentists’ services, drugs and other products and services that people purchase on a daily basis.
From 2013 through 2020 in the mid-Atlantic region, the monthly percent increase in CPI ranged from as low as negative 0.2% in April 2015 to as high as 2.9% in June and July 2018.
But in 2021, monthly increases in CPI started occurring.
CPI increased by 4.2% in April 2021 and then rose as high as 7% in December 2021.
In 2022, the CPI monthly increases ranged from 6.5% to as high as 9.1%.
In 2023, the monthly increases in CPI have hovered at 3.7% in August and September.

GOOD OLD “MIDDLE CLASS” JOE!
But stay tuned because in the next installment, we shall explore the question of what the term “middle class” values means in America, so don’t change that dial and we shall be right back after a commercial break and a pause for station identification!
This morning, I went on google looking for how to contact the Pennsylvania Capital-Star concerning that Biden article I quoted from above, and real big surprise, there is no way to contact them.
So they can print that BIDEN horsecrap with apparent impunity, and unlike the Cape Charles Mirror, there is no way anyone can challenge what they print, as we can do in here, or comment on what they have printed, as again, we can do in here, which is why the Cape Charles Mirror is a GRAND PALLADIUM of our liberty while the Pennsylvania Capital-Star appears to be nothing more than a worthless BIDEN TOADY or mouthpiece.
And speaking of the rank BIDEN horsecrap that we are going to find ourselves barraged with on a daily basis now that the SILLY SEASON is starting in earnest, the October 3, 2023 edition of the Arizona Mirror carried an article which was essentially a regurgitation of the Pennsylvania Capital-Star article I cited above titled “Biden campaign launches new ad focused on the president’s Scranton roots.” except this one was titled “Biden touts blue-collar roots in latest AZ ad” by Jim Small, which article by the same author was reprinted in the Tucson Sentinel, which raises the question of what blue-collar roots does the privileged Joe Biden have, which takes us back to Sep 17, 2020 and an Axios article titled “Joe Biden: ‘I’ve benefitted’ from white privilege” by Orion Rummler, where we had Joe, as follows:
Joe Biden said at a CNN town hall on Thursday that he has benefitted from white privilege “just because I don’t have to go through what my Black brothers and sisters have had to go through.”
end quote
So before we get to the definition of “middle class,” and the question of what are “middle class values,” what does the term “blue-collar” mean here in America?
And the answer from Investopedia is that the term blue-collar worker refers to individuals who engage in hard manual labor, typically in the agriculture, manufacturing, construction, mining, or maintenance sectors.
So what “blue-collar” roots does Joe Biden have, besides none at all?
“Little Joey,” as Biden refers to himself back in his limited Scranton days, as we saw above, was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942, and then because “Little Joey’s” father was wealthy, NOT blue-collar, the Biden family blew that ****-hole of Scranton and purchased a home in the affluent Long Island suburb of Garden City in the fall of 1946, when “Little Joey” was FOUR years old, and then, because “Little Joey’s” father was a lousy businessman, NOT a blue-collar worker, he suffered business setbacks around the time “Little Joey” was seven years old, in 1949, and for several years the family lived with Biden’s maternal grandparents in Scranton, and then “Little Joey” moved with his family to Delaware in 1953, when “Little Joey” was ten, where the family lived in an apartment in Claymont, Delaware, before moving to a house in nearby Mayfield, and Biden Sr. later became a successful used-car salesman, maintaining the family in a middle-class lifestyle.
So where, besides in yet another of Joe Biden’s fantasylands, where he invents personal history for himself out of fairy dust and moonbeams and cobwebs, were Joe Biden’s blue-collar roots, then?
And the true answer is that he does not have any, unless we want to believe a Biden fantasy that has “Little Joey” working in the Scranton coal fields when he was just a toddler, the youngest blue-collar union member there ever was, as we see “Little Joey,” still in a diaper, toddling off to work with his hardhat on his head and his lunchpail under his arm for yet another day of hard labor, which is what real blue-collar workers do in real life.
And I’m speaking as someone who has real blue-collar roots, unlike Joe Biden.
Never in my life have I seen such bull**** from an American president, and it is obvious these rags make absolutely no effort whatsoever to do any fact-checking, although a three-year old with computer skills, let alone a supposed “professional journalist” like Jim Small, could have easily debunked this specious claim by Joe Biden and his white privilege to have “blue-collar” roots.
And that takes us to what defines someone as “middle-class,” and according to the Pew Research Center, “middle class, a contrived term,” simply refers to someone who as an income that ranges between two-thirds and double the median income and the exact boundaries of a middle-class income vary by family size and location, due to the geographical differences in cost of living.
And that’s it – it refers to a segment of 0ur population – so that it is obvious from Joe’s claims of “fighting for the middle-class,” that as president, Joe is clearly discriminating against disabled veterans like myself who are definitely not in the middle class here in America.
So what are “middle-class values” then?
According to Wikipedia, the term middle-class values as used by various writers and politicians include such qualities as hard work, self-discipline, thrift, honesty, aspiration and ambition, and from that, we can clearly see that Joe Biden himself, a notorious serial liar who has never worked a real job, especially a blue-collar job, in his life, DOES NOT have what a traditional middle-class values.
To avoid the hard work real American like myself engaged in growing up, Joe has spent his entire adult life feeding off the taxpayers as a career hack politician.
As to honesty, forget it, because Joe, as a serial liar, does not have a shred of it in his body, which is evidenced in the very campaign ad, where Joe concocts a false narrative as to his early years in order to gull those in America to ignorant to fact-check Joe’s false claims.
So much for Joe Biden’s middle-class values!
Like his supposed “blue-collar” roots, they don’t exist and never have!
For a good example of the disgusting BIDEN LIES, the stupid BIDEN GASLIGHTING and the FASCIST CENSORING of BIDEN BAD NEWS by the autocratic Biden Regime that we here in America are going to be subjected to on a daily basis from here on out til Election Daty 2024, let’s go to a Washington Examiner article titled “Democrats: The economy is either great or Republicans’ fault” by Madeline Fry Schultz on 29 November 2023, where we have as follows:
According to Bureau of Labor Statistics data compiled by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, in the first 30 months of Biden’s presidency, gas prices went up 35%, bread was up 24%, and housekeeping supplies were up 17%.
Basics such as motor vehicle repair, public transportation, meats, and day care had also risen significantly.
But inflation is not that bad.
Or is it?
The article (the Washington Post) then describes squabbles within the Biden administration.
Some want to take a cue from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who recently said, “I think it’s our job to explain to Americans what President Biden has done to improve the economy.”
Others see that as too much of a “let them eat cake” approach and prefer to blame a poor economy on “large corporations and Republicans,” though neither of them are running the country.
As an example, Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) constant scapegoating of “corporate greed” comes to mind.
What Biden’s advisers all seem to be able to agree on, however, is that these $16 burger posts must be stopped.
“The White House official said the administration is working with TikTok creators to tell positive stories of Biden’s economic stewardship, while also working with social media platforms to counter misinformation,” the report says.
We know the White House has been collaborating with TikTokers to spread its propaganda, and chillingly, we also know that it has abused its power to pressure social media companies into countering what it sees as “misinformation.”
So, while Biden and his team squabble over how best to gaslight people regarding the economy, the unifying solution is easy: Flood TikTok and Instagram with Generation Z propagandists and pressure such companies to throttle, “fact-check,” or otherwise discredit and disappear negative posts about the economy.
If censorship is the solution, it sounds like those arguments about the Biden economy aren’t so strong after all.
end quotes
Yes, people, propaganda, and censorship, which are true signs of an autocratic regime, as if this were Ukraine under the fascist pig Zelenski, who Joe Biden is emulating in this country, which is why we should be thankful we have the Cape Charles Mirror, before the autocratic Biden regime cancels it as a source of misinformation about Joe Biden, because in Joe Biden’s version of America, modeled on the Soviet Union under the thug Joe Stalin, only “good news” about Joe Biden and his failed policies can be printed, which then takes us to another Washington Examiner article titled “Yellen claims ‘it’s our job’ to explain what Biden’s done to improve the economy” by Asher Notheis on 21 November 2023, where we have Biden treasury secretary Janet “TOODLES” Yellen (cue Bob Seger – Her Strut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C51c0vuLEng ) on center stage (cue “Lies, Lies, Lies” by JJ Cale https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiJKYNKr3so ), as follows:
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Monday that she believes “it’s our job” to explain to voters what President Joe Biden has done to address the economy, which many voters believe is not doing well.
end quote
Se, it’s like this, people, according, to “TOODLES,” and the Biden administration, and their media enablers such as THE FIVE ******* IDIOTS (see, Fox News, November 27, 2023, ‘The Five’: Media complains voters are too stupid to feel a good economy” https://www.foxnews.com/video/6341863508112 ), we are all of us far too stupid to realize just how good we really have it under Joe Biden, thanks to BIDE-O-NOMICS, which is why we so desperately need “TOODLES” to lead us forth from benighted ignorance into the shining light of the brand new day in America Joe has provided us with, because he loves us and is a really food person, to boot, which takes us back to that article, to wit:
Yellen was asked about recent polling data that found 59% of voters under the age of 30 would rate the current state of the economy as “poor.”
The United States economy, and Biden’s approach to addressing it, is one of several topics many voters have expressed frustration on heading into 2024, when Biden seeks reelection.
“I think it’s our job to explain to Americans what President Biden has done to improve the economy,” Yellen said on CNBC.
end quotes
Yes, people, stay tuned, because enlightenment from “TOODLES” to cure us of our ignorance is at hand, sing HALLELUJAH, say AMEN, to wit:
“I think as inflation comes down, prices stop rising, and the labor market remains strong, Americans will begin to see that we have made meaningful progress.”
“And importantly, the administration is making investments in America that will show up in improved conditions and more availability of good jobs in many parts of the country that have not seen a lot of progress.”
The secretary went on to state that the Biden administration has announced over $500 billion in manufacturing investing, some of which is starting to “come to fruition.”
She added that more voters will feel “more hopeful about our prospects” over time.
end quotes
Yeah, right, “TOODLES,” keep piling the Biden horse**** higher and deeper, and when the stinking pile is above the tops of our heads, which it will be soon, we will all see the light of day!
Going back to the article, we have:
The state of the economy, and voters’ view on it, could potentially be a bump in the road for Biden’s path to reelection in 2024 as some Democrats are questioning if the president has the ability to win the election next year.
Democratic strategist David Axelrod claimed over the weekend that Biden has “a 50-50 shot” at winning reelection, but his chances are “no better than that, maybe a little worse.”
Other Democrats have brushed off these concerns, including Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), who pointed to the election results from 2022 and 2023 as good news for Democrats next year.
Coons argued that the Democratic Party’s performance in recent elections, which have been better than anticipated, is “rooted” in Biden’s accomplishments as president.
end quotes
Which brings us to this classic quote from a State Of The Union article titled “Scrambling: Biden White House in ‘Full-Blown Crisis’” by Jordan Andrews on
28 November 2023, to wit:
A Biden voter in 2020, Spencer Weiss said, “The world is falling apart under Biden.”
end quote
And people, that says it all!
FAILURE UPON FAILURE UPON FAILURE!
LIES UPON LIES UPON LIES!
BIDEN/HARRIS 2024!
And there is my campaign ad for Joe Biden, which is a lot more realistic and to the point than is Joe’s NEVER LEFT campaign video!
And that mention of lies takes us back to an article in The Messenger titled “Consumers Still Struggle With Higher Prices, Despite Progress on Taming Inflation, Treasury Secretary Says” by Al Lewis on 20 November 2023, where we had Biden treasury secretary Janet “TOODLES” Yellen (cue Fleetwood Mac, Little Lies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCGD9dT12C0 ) on center stage attempting to mislead WE, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE as if we were really as stupid as the Biden administration and its corp0rate media enablers believe us to be, as follows:
Yellen noted that inflation, as measured by the consumer price index, came in at 3.2% in October, down from its peak of 9.1% in June 2022.
“We’re making considerable progress in bringing inflation down,” she said.
end quotes
And that is so NOT TRUE, because Joe Biden is the cause of the inflation, and it is the federal reserve, not Joe Biden, that is trying to bring down the inflation caused by Joe Biden, as we see by going to a Reuters article titled “Biden says he trusts Fed to take action on inflation if needed” by Jeff Mason and Trevor Hunnicutt on August 11, 2021, where we had as follows:
WASHINGTON, Aug 11 (Reuters) – President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that his administration is working to relieve bottlenecks threatening the economic recovery and trusts the Federal Reserve to take any steps that may be needed to rein in prices.
“While today’s consumer price report points in that direction, we will keep a careful eye on inflation each month, and trust the Fed to take appropriate action if and when it’s needed.”
Fed Chair Jerome Powell has repeatedly said the current burst in inflation is likely temporary.
Biden faces a choice in the next few months over whether to appoint Powell to another four-year term when his current term ends in February.
end quotes
And of course, as we today know quite well, Powell, who Joe did reappoint, because he is stupid and incompetent, qualities Joe requires of those who serve him so he looks “smart” by comparison, was dead wrong about inflation being “likely temporary.”
But the point is that Biden publicly acknowledged that it was the fed’s responsibility to fight inflation, not his, and the first person who should have known that was “TOODLES,” who Democrat William Jeffers announced on April 22, 1994 his intention to nominate “TOODLES” as a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, an office she held until February 1997.
So why then was she lying to us about the Biden regime “making considerable progress in bringing inflation down,” on 20 November 2023?
Clearly, as we see from the minutes of the July 3, 1996 federal reserve meeting, “TOODLES” was well aware of the role of the fed in combating inflation in the guise of “price stability,” something we clearly do not have today, to wit:
MS. YELLEN. Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
I will try to be brief because, like President Broaddus, I would like to take a little extra time in our next go-around concerning price objectives for monetary policy.
Will aggregate demand really moderate in the second half of the year, and are we about to see an uptick in core inflation due to increasing wage pressures in already tight labor markets and the feedback of higher food prices into wage demands?
With respect to the slowdown in aggregate demand, I confess both ignorance and concern.
With respect to inflation, though, as a number of you have emphasized, the news has been favorable.
Core inflation in the CPI and PPI remains well contained and, as the Roberts memo and the Chairman highlighted, consumer inflation as measured by the chain-weighted PCE is running just over 2 percent.
I would emphasize that our most recent readings on long-term inflationary expectations also are quite positive, suggesting the absence of any deterioration there.
Food prices do seem poised to rise, with pass-through to wages and core inflation a possibility.
But eventually, even if it is beyond our forecast horizon, it seems to me that these weather-related price hikes will unwind, bringing core inflation back down, too.
In my opinion, temporary supply shocks should be essentially irrelevant to monetary policy.
Core inflation still exceeds the pace consistent with the apparent trend in unit labor costs, and profit margins have widened.
We may be living on borrowed time, and there may end up being a price to pay for having allowed the economy, to use Governor Lindsey’s phrase, “to push the envelope.”
In my estimation, though, with each passing quarter–and I now count seven–in which unemployment remains near 5-1/2 percent and core inflation declines or remains stable, the Committee’s degree of confidence that the natural rate has fallen should rise a little.
Mine certainly has.
end quotes
And the answer as to why she was lying to us on 20 November 2023 is because she works for Joe Biden, period, who himself is a serial liar.
And then we had Joe in another Reuters article titled “Biden vows to give Fed Chair Powell ‘space’ to fight inflation” by Jeff Mason and Jarrett Renshaw on May 31, 2022, to wit:
U.S. President Joe Biden on Tuesday met with Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to discuss historic inflation that’s draining American wallets, even as he assured the central bank chief he would have freedom from political interference.
“The president underscored to Chair Powell in the meeting what he has underscored consistently including today — that he respects the independence of the Federal Reserve,” White House National Economic Council Director Brian Deese said after the meeting, calling it “very constructive.”
The Fed hopes inflation will moderate on its own, as companies sort out supply chain issues complicated by the pandemic, for example, and consumers shift spending toward services.
But Powell has also made clear that the Fed is no longer counting on that, and will ratchet interest rates as high as needed.
He sees high inflation as the chief economic risk facing the country, and controlling it as the Fed’s top priority during his second term, even if the process proves painful to households and firms, and pushes the unemployment rate a bit higher.
For Biden and the Democratic party that could mean a difficult midterm election season, where they are trying to maintain control of the Senate and House of Representatives.
Biden in June plans a media blitz to make the case to Americans that the economy is strong.
U.S. consumer price growth slowed in April as gasoline prices eased off record highs, suggesting that inflation has probably peaked, though it is likely to stay hot for a while and keep the Federal Reserve’s foot on the brakes to cool demand.
Powell earlier this month said that despite some encouraging signs that price pressures may be peaking, the current environment is “not a time for tremendously nuanced readings of inflation,” and U.S. central bank officials will keep tightening policy until inflation comes down in “a convincing way.”
end quotes
Could “TOODLES” have been unaware on 20 November 2023 that that discussion between Biden and Powell happened on May 31, 2022?
Only if she is truly an ignorant fool, which is a distinct possibility, or a moronic idiot, another strong possibility!
So fast forward to today with regard to inflation and a CNBC article titled “Fed’s Barkin says rate hikes are still on the table if inflation doesn’t continue to ease” by Jeff Cox on November 29, 2023, where we have REALITY as it confronts us common Americans, especially us older Americans on fixed incomes who have been forced out of the BIDEN economy with its inflated prices that have turned ordinary consumer goods into luxury items, to wit:
Bostic said his staff expects the inflation rate to decline to 2.5% by the end of 2024 and then get back to the Fed’s 2% target by the end of 2025.
end quote
Yes, people, you are reading that correctly if like me, you read that as inflation lasting for years to come, and let’s get over that horsecrap that inflation coming down means anything positive to us, because what it really means is that for at least the next year, if not more, PRICES WILL STILL BE GOING UP, which takes us to another Reuters article titled “Current policy rate lets Fed be ‘nimble’ with incoming data, Mester says” by Michael S. Derby on November 29, 2023, to wit:
It will likely take time to hit the Fed’s inflation target, Mester said, but in the meantime, “monetary policy is in a good place for policymakers to assess incoming information on the economy and financial conditions.”
end quote
And let’s pause here for station identification so this all has a chance to sink in, but stay tuned, because the SILLY SEASON is just getting going and the TORRENT OF LIES from the Biden regime is just getting up a good head of steam as Biden tries to bulldoze us with a BARRAGE OF PURE BULL****!
As the late Lloyd Joseph Kellam, a native of Cape Charles, VA, who was the son of the late Lloyd Branson Joseph Kellam and the late Florence Manley Kellam, and who passed away on October 2, 2023, is doing elsewhere in here with respect to life in Cape Charles in years gone by, so too am I talking in here not only about the present, but what life was like here in America when I was young (I’m past the 3/4 century mark) as compared to now, and what comes to mind before I come back to America today under Joe Biden, who I believe has an administration even more corrupt than that of US Grant (March 4, 1869 – March 4, 1877), I would like to go back to 1958, and an incident I remember well, that being the VICUNA COAT SCANDAL that forced Sherman Adams to resign under fire as President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s chief White House aide, and the reason that SCANDAL, which today in Joe Biden’s America wouldn’t be a scandal, but bidness as usual, came to mind was a State Of The Union article titled “Biden Admin Caught Red-Handed Skipping Taxpayer Safeguard To Push Through Green Energy Project” by Jordan Andrews on 1 December 2023, where we have what I, an older America, consider corruption in the Biden adminstration, to wit:
The Biden administration granted a waiver to an energy firm developing an offshore wind project off the coast of Massachusetts, exempting them from paying development fees intended to protect taxpayers.
end quote
And let us call that out for what it is, people, dictatorial gall (bold and impudent behavior, as in Joe Biden had the gall to strip the taxpayers of America of the protection of law!”) on the part of this lawless autocrat Joseph Robinette Biden, Junior, whose administration makes that of US Grant look clean by comparison, which takes us back to the article, to wit:
The decision has raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest, as the former Deputy Interior Secretary had previously provided legal services to the energy firm.
end quotes
And that is a qualification to serve in this CORRUPT Biden regime – having an actual conflict of interest and being compromised, as a result, which takes us back to the story of Biden Regime CORRUPTION, to wit:
“At the same time the Department of the Interior was looking at forcing greater and more expensive bonding requirements on holders of long-standing oil and gas leases, they were relaxing these requirements on the nation’s first utility-scale offshore wind energy producer, one that just coincidentally happened to be a client of their incoming #2,” PPT Director Michael Chamberlain said.
“If you want to talk about bad optics, I don’t see how they could be any worse than right here,” he added.
“For an administration touting itself as the most ethical in history, this represents yet another incident in which Secretary Haaland’s Interior appears to have a tough time living up to that standard.”
The waiver was approved despite the Trump administration’s prior rejection of the request.
The project, Vineyard Wind 1, has been fast-tracked, receiving federal approval and support from the Biden administration.
“Vineyard Wind 1 represents a historic milestone for advancing our nation’s clean energy production.”
“This project and others across the country will create robust and sustainable economies that lift up communities and support good-paying jobs, while also ensuring future generations have a livable planet,” Haaland said in 2021.
“The Interior Department is committed to responsibly accelerating our nation’s transition to a clean energy future, and doing so in coordination with our partners, stakeholders, Tribes and ocean users to avoid and reduce potential impacts as much as we can,” she added.
end quotes
Going back in time for context here, the Grant administration was routinely labeled one of the most corrupt in U.S. history, that being before being supplanted by the Biden administration, but despite the scandals that arose during his tenure, unlike Joe Biden today, Grant was never personally involved with any of them, and his honesty and personal integrity were never questioned, while today, Joe Biden’s honesty and personal integrity are most certainly questioned, and I would say that Joe Biden possesses neither.
Going back to US Grant, his inability to clean up his own administration was a blight on his presidential record, whereas today, as we see from this article above, Joe Biden makes no effort whatsoever to clean up his administration, because he doesn’t care to do so, after years in the US Senate where “palm greasing” has been raised to an art form.
Which brings us to 1958 and the VICUNA COAT SCANDAL from the UPI Archives for October 28, 1986, by Arnold Sawislak, UPI Senior Editor, as follows:
WASHINGTON — The Republicans regained the White House in 1952 with a general at the helm, and determined to fashion an image based on morality, honesty, thriftiness, and character.
end quote
In our times, the DEMOCRATS regained (stole?) the White House in 2021 with a caitiff draft dodger at the helm, and they determined to fashion an image based on a lack morality, zero honesty, profligacy instead of thriftiness, and a lack of character from the chief executive on down.
Going back to that story, we have more as follows:
Sherman Adams filled the bill — and more.
Dwight D. Eisenhower was, of course, a war hero — the kind that inspires statues, but GOP campaigners also made much of the fact that he was unsullied by the ‘you-scratch-my-back-and-I’ll-scratch-yours’ political morality that embarrassed the Truman administration so often immediately after World War II.
end quotes
Today, Joe Biden has brought us back in time to the corrupt administration of Harry S. Truman, which takes us back to the story, to wit:
Eisenhower brought Adams, the former governor of New Hampshire, to Washington, and the austere, almost grim Yankee symbolized a new no-nonsense atmosphere in the White House — where not long before, Truman’s cronies, including military aide Gen. Harry Vaughn, had dealt in influence-peddling and cheerfully trafficked in gifts of mink coats and food freezers.
end quote
Being a DEMOCRAT, of course, Joe Biden not surprisingly is copying what went on during the Truman years, especially the influence-peddling, which again takes us back to the story, to wit:
As White House chief of staff, Adams ran the show with the kind of military precision that a five-star general who commanded a gigantic war effort would expect from his chief aide.
He also was the very picture of the frugal public servant, eating ham and cheese sandwiches at his desk, rather than accepting pricey meals in what came to be known as the Washington ‘power lunch’ restaurants.
Adams appeared so powerful in setting the White House agenda and deflecting favor-seekers and other pests from the Oval Office that Democrats and some Republicans wondered aloud who really was in charge down there at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
He could have given Donald Regan lessons in unsympathetic listening and cold dismissal.
That ended with the arrival in Washington in 1958 of Bernard Goldfine, a New England businessman intent on getting some under-the-counter assistance with problems he was having with the Federal Trade Commission and the Securities & Exchange Commission.
To lubricate the process, Goldfine sent some of the people he thought could help him some nice presents, such as coats made of vicuna (most Americans never had heard of the valuable fabric woven from the fur of the rare South American beast) and oriental rugs.
Congress, which by that time had been recaptured by the Democrats, investigated the Goldfine affair with zest, and with the Washington press in full cry (one reporter was discovered trying to wiretap the Boston magnate’s hotel suite), it was soon disclosed that Sherman Adams, of all people, had accepted gifts from his old friend Bernie.
Adams indignantly denied wrongdoing, contending he had once given Goldfine a gold watch and the goodies he got from the Boston magnate were no more than reciprocal tokens of esteem.
A lot of people believed him, including the president, who told a news conference that gifts ‘are not necesarily a bribe’ and that he trusted and would keep Adams ‘because I need him.’
But under pressure from frightened GOP candidates in the 1958 elections, Ike finally let Adams resign with a letter glowing with high praise for his devotion to duty.
So Eisenhower said goodbye to Sherman Adams, his administration said goodbye to its aura of moral superiority and Washington marked up another victim of the axiom that ‘power corrupts.’
end quotes
And BIG SURPRISE, here we are today, with Washington and Joe Biden proving all over again that “power corrupts,” and in Jo0e Biden’s case, absolute power corrupts absolutely!
But stay tuned, more is yet to come!
