In an emotional 3-2 vote, the Northampton Board of Supervisors approved the new 2016 zoning, thus killing off the controversial 2015 zoning. Chairman Murray and Supervisor Hogg took extended amounts of time to make their case, to explain where and how they see the future of Northampton County. The final tally was Bennett and LeMond voting No, Hogg, Murray and Duer voting Yes. While the ordinance passed, it was consensus that the document is a ‘work in progress’, with much more to come.
