Northampton County Schools are continuing to require children to wear masks despite legislation signed by the Governor lifting the mandates.
Accomack has decided to no longer enforce the mandates. The County lifted the mask mandate for students effective Tuesday, February 22.
The Northampton School Board will next meet on February 22 where it is presumed the status of the mask mandate will be discussed.
