Eastern Shore of Virginia residents enrolled in or having applied to a college curriculum related to natural resources conservation may apply for scholarship funding from local sources.
The W. Foster Fletcher Conservation Scholarship and the William H. Beasley, Sr. Memorial Scholarship, both administered by the Eastern Shore Soil and Water Conservation District’s endowment committee, are available only to Eastern Shore of Virginia residents who are full-time students or who have applied to a college undergraduate level curriculum. Up to $1000 will be available for scholarships to be awarded to two students, depending upon the qualification of the applicants.
Wednesday, April 24, 2024, is the deadline to apply for the W. Foster Fletcher Conservation Scholarship and the William H. Beasley, Sr. Memorial Scholarship.
