I agree. Many thanks to the MIRROR for performing this good service every week. If the dog is ever captured, it should never be returned to whoever owned it, even if it ends up going to Animal Control. I have a number of rescued animals at my house, in-and-out dogs, mostly old beagles who were considered unadoptable. I have seen again and again, how appallingly many residents of Accomack and Northampton counties treat their animals.
My politics are on the far-right, and I practiced law for 35 years, but I applaud every liberal come-here who is able to steal an animal from an abusive local who neglects it.
