The Town Council has appointed David Howgill to fill the vacancy left by Ed Wells on the Historic District Review Board. Adam Charney also applied for the vacancy and was chosen as an alternate.
In the past, Council has named alternates to the board when there are multiple applications as a way to fill any future vacancies.
The Historic District Review Board (HDRB) oversees the Town’s Historic District and reviews applications for Certificates of Appropriateness for construction, reconstruction, or substantial exterior alternation within the Historic District. The Board meets monthly and consists of four citizen members each serving five-year terms and one Planning Commission representative.
