Spring is coming and it is time to register for The Academy for Lifetime Learning’s exciting 2024 Spring semester. As always, there are many interesting new offerings along with old favorites.
For a $25 enrollment fee, you can take as many classes as you can fit into your schedule.
Some classes begin in early February, others begin later. Classes continue until late May. Whether an experienced cook or a novice, you will learn something new from a cooking class called Flavors: Secret, Magic Ingredients. If you want to know more about classical music, noted musician Lee Jordan Anders is teaching The Life and Music of Mozart. You can watch and discuss French Films. Learn to take Better Photos with your cell phone, or sign up for an Introduction to Theatre. For those interested in active pursuits, there are guided nature walks, a Kayak trip, Line Dancing, Pickleball, and Bocce Ball. Learn about your Android phone, Planning your Estate, or how to Prepare for your Tax Preparer. The popular Eastern Shore History class taught by local historian Dennis Custis is back again with something new. There are too many classes and subjects to include here.

Some classes will be held on Friday mornings at the Eastern Shore Community College, others will be held in other locations at other times.
The Academy for Lifetime Learning (A.L.L.) is an all-volunteer organization of individuals who share their interests and life experiences to provide a rich and varied menu of courses. Membership fees go to pay the limited expenses of the organization. The remaining dollars are given yearly scholarships to Eastern Shore high school graduates to continue their education.
