  1. Congratulations Wayne on TEN YEARS!!!
Speaking of the first article, I noticed it mentions Bob Panek. Just wanted to remind everyone how the town fired him from one position, then created another position just for him. Also the fact that he was given a slap on the wrist for stealing over 250,000 dollars from the Pentagon before being hired by the town of Cape Charles.

  2. ?????????? Cape Charles remains a charming coastal village on the southern end of Virginia’s Eastern Shore—?????????

  3. CCM: Founded in 2015, the independent online community journal has become a voice for residents of Cape Charles and surrounding Northampton County, offering in-depth reporting on town life—from town council meetings to beach development and cultural events.

ME: And as someone not from Cape Charles who has no desire to be from Cape Charles and who has been following the various episodes of the venerable CCM for many years now, I would say the CCM is being humble in describing itself as only a local publication.

Indeed, over the years I have been stopping by here, the Mirror has had many articles on many subjects that were of national or even international interest – global warming, little Greta, NASA, NOAA and the whales, the presidential campaigns, the various Trump trials, the Biden administration, etc.

While the people of Cape Charles are lucky to have the Cape Charles Mirror, so to are we from outside Cape Charles.
