CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Town of Cape Charles is currently seeking applicants to fill vacant positions on several key boards.
The Building Code Board of Appeals, the Wetlands & Coastal Dune Board, and the Planning Commission all have openings. Although the town has received some applications, more are needed before interviews with the Town Council can be scheduled.
“If you are a citizen of the Town of Cape Charles and are interested in serving on one of these boards, or any of the other town boards, please complete the Application for Boards and Commission and return it to Town Clerk Libby Hume at 2 Plum Street, Cape Charles, VA 23310 or email it to: clerk@capecharles.org,” said town officials.
They expressed gratitude to all the members of the Town’s Boards and Planning Commission for volunteering their time to serve the community in this capacity. The town values their contributions and commitment to public service.
Interested citizens are encouraged to step forward and play a role in shaping the future of Cape Charles by participating in these essential boards.
