CAPE CHARLES – Curio Cottage, a unique treasure trove located at 12 Strawberry Street, is opening its doors for weekend for sales benefiting Arts Enter, with all proceeds going directly to the local arts organization.
The shop, which operates under the motto “treasures for a cause,” specializes in vintage finds, antiques, original art, unique home decor, jewelry, and curiosities from around the world. Owner-operators welcome both donations and volunteers to help support their charitable mission.
This shop hours are Fridays 11 AM to 3 PM and Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM, though organizers note that Saturday hours may be extended depending on volunteer availability.

Families are especially encouraged to visit, as the shop is hosting a special owl-themed scavenger hunt for children, complete with prizes for participants.
“We’re always looking for donations and volunteers to help us continue supporting local causes,” said a shop representative. The cottage’s distinctive owl logo and eclectic inventory have made it a popular destination for those seeking one-of-a-kind items while supporting community organizations.
Arts Enter, the beneficiary of this weekend’s sales, provides arts education and programming in the Cape Charles area.
For more information about donating items or volunteering, visitors can stop by Curio Cottage at 12 Strawberry Street during operating hours.
