Osprey Nest Monitoring
Thanks to Osprey Biologist Michael Academia, we have a video camera on an osprey nest in Northampton County. Brief videos are posted on our YouTube channel.
- Nest Update: Out of three eggs, only one hatched. The chick, now 3 weeks old, is thriving with the care of its two very attentive parents. The next four weeks are critical as it will require increasing amounts of food to reach full size.
We look forward to seeing you at the field trips and sharing the joy of birding on the Eastern Shore!
