NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. — Young athletes across the Eastern Shore will soon have a chance to sharpen their basketball skills and have some summer fun as Coach Powers’ Eastern Shore Basketball Camp returns this June.
The coed mini camp, scheduled for June 15–17, will take place at the Northampton County Parks and Recreation Center and is open to rising 3rd through 9th grade students. Each day will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., offering a structured yet energetic environment for players of all skill levels.
According to the camp flyer (page 1), participants can expect a mix of daily skill stations, drills, games, and fun contests designed to improve fundamentals while keeping the experience engaging.
Coach Powers, who organizes the camp, aims to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere where young players can develop confidence both on and off the court. The camp also emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship, giving participants a well-rounded basketball experience.
