Hello! Please help us! our black lab went overboard this afternoon at about 4 PM.
We were about 2 to 3 miles straight out from Cape Charles Harbor when he went overboard.
He is 6 years old about 120 pounds has a camouflage color collar on with tags but the tags have a home phone number and not our mobile numbers he does have a chip as well….
We are on vacation staying at a fishing cottage in Cape Charles.
PLEASE HELP! We need help locating him… We are being optimistic that he has swam to shore somewhere and he’s OK we’re needing help locating him.
We searched for about 4 hours until 8pm on the water until it started storming … we notified police, sheriffs department, marine police, coast guard, etc. we are posting posters all over Cape Charles, Cherrystone Kiptopeke, everywhere and anywhere we could think of… attached is the poster.
Poster has a spelling error it should say “Camo Collar with tags”
please help us locate our “Rock”…My daughter, son, my husband, and myself are sooo very broken hearted please help us!!

I spoke with Mr. Walker, the owner on the night this happened. The chain of events that led to this are heart wrenching. Mr. Walker searched for Rock all that night. Then began their search with the boat along the shoreline at sun-up.
Please keep an eye out for Rock and please help get the word out.
