Missy Cotter Smasal Endorsed by National Organization for Women

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – Today, the National Organization for Women endorsed Missy Cotter Smasal, a Navy veteran, former small business owner, and mom, for Virginia’s Second Congressional District. NOW is a leading national organization dedicated to achieving and protecting equal rights for all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, and economic life.  

“Virginia women deserve a leader who will fight to protect their rights and freedoms,” said Christian F. Missy understands the critical role intersectionality plays in women’s rights and I look forward to her advocating for women and girls in Congress.”

This key endorsement comes on the heels of House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) endorsing Missy. Missy was also endorsed by Planned Parenthood and is on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s highly competitive Red to Blue program for the 2024 cycle.
