Cape Charles, VA – The New Roots Youth Garden in Cape Charles is excited to announce its Summer Garden Club, a program packed with hands-on learning and fun garden activities for children aged 5 to 13. The club will run from June 27 to August 22, meeting every Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM.
Participants will have the opportunity to run a kids’ farm stand, engage in experimental learning, and enjoy a variety of garden-related activities. The program emphasizes practical experience and aims to foster a love for gardening and healthy living among young participants.
Children are required to wear closed-toe shoes for safety, and sunscreen is recommended for protection against the sun. Healthy snacks will be provided to keep the young gardeners energized.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in the Summer Garden Club can find more information and sign up at the New Roots Youth Garden. This program promises a season of growth, learning, and outdoor fun for the youth of Cape Charles.

Don’t Liberals think parents can teach kids how to plant seeds and tend a garden?
“If you think illegal children should be allowed to stay here because their parents broke the law, but think white folks should be punished because of slavery 200 years ago, you may be a Democrat”.

Liberals think parents can’t teach kids how to plant seeds and tend a garden precisely because so many parents themselves are totally clueless when it comes to planting seeds and tending a garden, which is why this project is to me a GREAT idea to educate and inspire the children to be responsible for themselves by tending a garden, which doesn’t tend itself as a rule, and I have to seriously doubt that it is being put on by liberals because they aren’t really all that practical as a rule to think about teaching kids how to plant seeds and tend a garden if they don’t know how to do it themselves, being more into pronouns and gender identity and abortions, than gardens, and besides dirt has worms in it and makes your hands dirty and can break manicured nails as well, which is very tacky.
