    1. Dave, your at it again my friend. First you use a link to support your belief that background checks don’t reduce homicide/ suicide rates. I point out to you, that YOUR link states that the secondary market has no background checks and the market is huge, so the findings are somewhat skewed.

I didn’t refute it – I merely pointed out what the authors of the report said. So, either you just copied and pasted from some other place without reading or you just didn’t understand it.

Guess what Dave, I’m going to do it again, though. The study is from 1993 to 2011. What about 2011 to 2018? Check this link: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/04/us/gun-death-rates.html A quote from the article ““It is a pretty sharp increase for one year. Mr. Anderson also said the rates for the first quarter of this year showed an upward trend, compared with the same three-month period of 2016” So it’s rising.

Do you have some acceptable level of murder by firearm that is ok? The above article states “Looking at the larger topic of firearm deaths, there were 31,672 deaths from guns in the U.S. in 2010.” 58,220, is number of military personnel killed in Vietnam during the entire period of war, from 1961 – 1975. That’s chilling.

Again, the government isn’t going to take your guns away, I don’t want to take your guns away. No matter how you slice it there is a need for stricter gun control and it has to be on the Federal level.

Dave can we call a truce?

        1. Truces are usually called so the side that is losing can regroup and slaughter you in your sleep.

          Never, ever trust a lefty.

          Ever.
