370,650 COVID-19 Vaccine Doses on the way to Virginia

December 20, 2020 by Wayne Creed 3 Comments

RICHMOND, Va.-The Virginia Department of Health says it was informed late Thursday by Operation Warp Speed that, like other states, Virginia’s estimated allocation of COVID-19 vaccine doses will be less than initially planned for the next few weeks.

Virginia is now planning to receive 370,650 doses of vaccine in December 2020 from two manufacturers, Pfizer and Moderna. This is down from the previously expected 480,000 doses.

Virginia’s health care personnel and long-term care facility residents remain top priority groups.  Eighteen Virginia hospitals received initial shipments of the Pfizer vaccine this week, and they began dispersing a total of 72,125 doses to frontline healthcare workers. Virginia has already placed an order for 146,400 doses of the Moderna vaccine, which if approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, will begin arriving the week of Dec. 21.

Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices approved the following recommendation by a majority (13-1) vote at its December 1, 2020 emergency meeting.

When a COVID-19 vaccine is authorized by FDA and recommended by ACIP, vaccination in the initial phase of the COVID-19 vaccination program (Phase 1a) should be offered to both 1) health care personnel§ and 2) residents of long-term care facilities¶

This recommendation has been adopted by the CDC Director.

§Health care personnel are defined as paid and unpaid persons serving in health care settings who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients or infectious materials

¶ Long-term care facility residents are defined as adults who reside in facilities that provide a variety of services, including medical and personal care, to persons who are unable to live independently

With the entire medical care industry charging us all for computers and their services and all the information they have been gathering for decades about all of us, are they able to answer the question that many of the regular folks are asking themselves? Are all the tabulations being used for a proper distribution formula ? Does the Va. Dept. of Health know many first responders and nurses etc there are in Va ? How many at risk living in nursing homes or other such facilities ? How many Sr. citizens ? How many living with challenged immune deficiencies ? How many inoculations do we actually need for all of us ? What is that number ? Just who is figuring out how to create the line so we al know when it is our turn to get on the line and wait for our inoculation ? In other words, when do I get mine and when do you get yours ? Or are we supposed to just wait for Dr. Jill Biden to create the list and tabulate it all in Uncle Joe’s favorite voting machines ? Of course we can all be sure that The Bipartisan subcommittee chaired by Elaine Luria will be sure in about 34 years that there will be transparency to the entire distribution question. Y’all got your hands up yet ?

No one knows exact numbers and it changes daily. They have a rough idea based on business and professional license supplied data. If you aren’t 65 and aren’t compromised, don’t hold your breath for it. As soon as Biden opens up our borders, unvaccinated illegals will pour in and herd immunity will just be a twinkle in our eyes anyhow.

Sadly I think you are right and you are wrong Trishy. That was/is my point. I think we are about to witness the worst medical cluster—- in our history. My previous comment of all the computers in the medical field, insurance companies, the IRS and the census bureau etc. The info is all collected but we aren’t smart enough to use it. The boondoggle that is the swamp, and the only way it knows how to not function, means all the software and data in our country cannot and will not be put together to direct the proper distribution of this vaccine. Operation Warp Speed needs to now find a way to use supercomputers and put this all together. The only problem is that Pelosi, Biden, Social Media and the mainstream press have all gotten together and convinced our voting machines to throw the one man in D.C. who could put this show on the road, out of office. I’ve thrown my hands up in the air again.
