Cape Charles Hiring Full-Time Bookkeeper

Treasurer’s department seeks an experienced full-time Bookkeeper.  Tasks include accounts payable and receivable, filing, tax form review (meals, transient occupancy, business licenses, etc.), bank deposits and account monitoring, and making journal entries.  Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook and must learn the Town’s financial software. 

The well-qualified candidate will possess excellent communication, analytic and customer service skills and be detail-oriented, organized, and accurate. Experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable is required. Being a team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and deal well with the public is essential.

    Glad to see good develeopement in Cape Charles,
    Such as a professional treasurer. And a new YMCA and even such a thing of fixing the sewage system.
