The 2017-2018 school is just around the corner, and soon teachers will be entering the classroom, preparing for another school year. The county can provide much of the services needed for students and teachers, however it can’t provide all the supplies and items needed to get classrooms ready for the upcoming school year.
The Town of Cape Charles is holding a back to school supply drive to collect items that will help students and teachers in Northampton start off on the right foot. This year, the town is sponsoring one full classroom, and they are challenging other businesses and organizations to do the same. Just sponsoring one classroom can really help our schools.
Beginning July 25, bring your donations to the Municipal Building between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. (Municipal Building is located at 2 Plum Street, Cape Charles)
