Charles Catholic Church Octoberfest Moved to October 8th

October 2, 2022 by 1 Comment

NOTICE: DUE TO HURRICANE IAN, THE OCTOBERFEST IS MOVED TO OCTOBER 8TH.

On Saturday, October 8th, St. Charles Catholic Church will be sponsoring a family-friendly Oktoberfest.  Please join us for craft beer, wine, bratwurst, hot dogs, popcorn, games, raffles, music, and more!  Bring the family and enjoy an afternoon of fun!  Located at 545 Randolph Avenue in Cape Charles (on the Eastern Shore), proceeds from this event will help to preserve our beautiful church that was built in 1886!  Admission includes 2 beverages and a meal.  Advance ticket prices are $30 for adults, $15 for ages 12-20 and non-drinkers, kids under 12 are FREE.  Day of event ticket prices are $40 and $20.

Tickets may be purchased at www.oktoberfeststcharles.eventbrite.com.

NOTE: The date on the banner is now October 8th, however, the rest of the information is correct.

As part of this family-fun event, we will be setting up an area for local artisans to sell their products.  To create a vendor space, we’ve been approved to close off Nectarine Street between Tazwell and Randolph Avenues.  If you are an interested crafter or artist, the fee to exhibit is $25 and you will be expected to provide your own table and/or tent.

Please contact Tara Ashworth at StCharlesBOktoberfest@gmail.com to get a vendor commitment form and/or arrange payment.
