The more we learn about Dr. Fauci, the clearer it becomes that he was at least aware the CCP likely developed Covid-19 through gain-of-function research. Was he directly involved in its creation?
“The evidence has finally caught up with the Chinese Communist Party, with Dr. Fauci, and with the other permanent Washington types who for over a year have said that the idea that the coronavirus came from a China lab leak was a conspiracy theory and that anybody who believed that was circus freak-crazy …It was a reasonable question to ask from day one.” – Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.)
The theory that the coronavirus leaked from a Wuhan, China lab was dismissed as a “conspiracy” by National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins in April of last year, newly released emails obtained by Buzzfeed News.
The email from Collins to current White House chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci and others is part of more than 3,200 pages emails.
On April 16, 2020, Collins forwarded a link to a Mediaite writeup of Brett Baier’s “Hannity” appearance to Fauci, NIH Deputy Director Dr. Lawrence Tabak, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Deputy Director Clifford Lane, and NIH spokesperson John Burklow under the subject line “conspiracy gains momentum”. The rest of the message is redacted.
On April 18, 2020, Fauci received an email from Peter Daszak, president of the nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance, thanking him “for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology…From my perspective, your comments are brave, and coming from your trusted voice, will help dispel the myths being spun around the virus’ origins.”
Last week, Fauci admitted to lawmakers that the NIH had allocated $600,000 to the Wuhan Institute of Virology over a five-year period to fund research on whether bat coronaviruses could be transmitted to humans. The money was sent via the EcoHealth Alliance.
Fauci and Collins have denied that the money went to fund so-called gain of function research, which Fauci defined last week as “taking a virus that could infect humans and making it either more transmissible and/or pathogenic for humans.” However:
Daszak, like Fauci, has also since denied that there was any gain of function research being conducted at the Wuhan lab, and that it wasn’t being funded by EcoHealth Alliance or via the NIH with US tax dollars.
Evidence that confirms this was exactly the case.
Daszak notes that “coronaviruses are pretty good… you can manipulate them in the lab pretty easily… the spiked proteins drive a lot about what happens. You can get the sequence you can build the protein, we work with Ralph Baric at UNC to do this, insert into the backbone of another virus and do some work in a lab.”
Elsewhere, the emails show that Fauci also knew very early on, before the WHO even declared a pandemic, that researchers suspected the virus had been ‘potentially engineered’ in a lab, as this exchange with Kristian G. Andersen of the Scripps Research Institute from January 2020 shows:
The emails with Fauci show that Daszak had already dismissed the lab leak notion nearly a year before that ‘investigation’ began, and despite other researchers saying it looked potentially engineered.
Daszak was one of the lead “investigators” on the WHO panel tasked with looking into the origins of the pandemic.
Daszak, whose organization has given at least $600,000 to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in the past few years to experiment with coronaviruses inside the lab, determined within 3 hours of visiting the lab in February 2021 that there was ‘nothing to see here’.
Chaser: Daszak was employed as an ‘expert fact checker’ by Facebook when it was monitoring and removing ‘misinformation’ about the origins COVID on its platform.
Now that the layers of “science” have been peeled back on Wuhan coronavirus, the same scrutiny should be applied to climate change and the government’s attempts to control your life over global temperature they can’t actually change…don’t you think?
Follow-up questions for the Doctor: Did the size of COVID virus increase so masks could contain it? What data are you looking at to suggest masks are effective? Are you saying cloth masks, like the type Americans wore all year, help to mitigate COVID spread? Can you point to a study showing that?
Imagine if the emails of Hillary, Hunter Biden, and Fauci were scrutinized, and investigated like the DNC-funded, fake Steele Dossier was. Shouldn’t the NY Times and WAPO, with massive resources have done that?
