Harbor Announces New Rates for Next Season

Cape Charles Harbor announce an increase per foot in annual slip rent from $63 to $66, seasonal slip rent from $43.75 to $47.25, quarterly slip rent from $24 to $27 in season and $24 offseason, monthly slip rent from $9.50 to $11.50 in season and $8 offseason, and weekly slip rent from $7 to $8 in season and $6 offseason (Rockfish season).

Transient rates were adjusted last season will remain based on per foot vessel length, nightly $2 in season and $1.75 offseason.

Annual, Semi-annual and Quarterly billing will remain the same. Discounts for town residents and of $.05 per gallon of fuel discount and commercial vessels that work from the Harbor a $.12 fuel discount are still in place, as well as the 5% discount for Town Residents and the 15% discount for commercial users.

      Hi KW: This is not a new issue designed to enrich the pockets of the Harbor. Cape Charles is ‘on the map’ and summer is very busy with additional cars, golf carts, and boats/jet skis on the town streets. Prior to the Harbor purchases and expansion, there have been people raising the issue of the historic district street parking.
