A front-page story in the N.Y. Times said Obama’s F.B.I. sent an Investigator “posing” as an assistant to meet with Trump aide George Papadopoulos in 2016.
The FBI sent a woman posing as a research assistant to a London bar in 2016, supposedly to discuss foreign policy with Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos, “The conversation … took a strange turn when the woman … asked [him] a direct question: Was the Trump campaign working with Russia?”
Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said: “There is a word for this in the English language: Spying. … [I]t is high time to investigate the investigators.”
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
The 45th President has been cleared twice by Congress, by a House and a Senate investigation, and now most recently by the $35 million Mueller report. There never was any collusion, and he can’t be charged for obstructing justice without an original predicated crime.
This story has unearthed something all Americans should be concerned about.
The Obama Administration attempted to subvert the Trump campaign through the use of the intelligence community (IC) for political ends.
What is know so far:
The CIA, the FBI, the Justice Department, and the Obama White House were all involved in a series of codename operations (including “Crossfire Hurricane”) that involved foreign governments, (Australia, Great Britain, and Italy), and their intelligence agencies, including the British equivalent of the National Security Agency, GCHQ, in targeted espionage against members of the Trump campaign.
At the same time, the FBI deployed multiple human assets with the brief to penetrate the Trump campaign and incite actual conspiracy with external Russian actors, a mission they failed to accomplish.
After the election in which Hillary Clinton lost to the rank outsider, Admiral Mike Rogers, the then-director of the NSA, warned President-elect Trump of these illegal and seditious operations without informing the outgoing president, or his immediate superior, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
The illegal espionage operations continued beyond the inauguration and were combined with a disinformation and cover-up operation run out of the Department of Justice.
After successfully convincing the new attorney general, Jeff Sessions that he had to recuse himself from all matters Russia, Obama Administration holdover Rod Rosenstein made Robert Mueller special counsel, ostensibly to investigate the new commander-in-chief, but simultaneously in charge of making sure that the true crimes of the previous two years were never uncovered.
Sources inside the CIA claim that Hillary Clinton’s loss did not stop the worst activities of the outgoing Obama team. Through the use of a walled-off team of contractors working inside the Intelligence Community, and with no FISA-authorization or other national security justification, the Trump White House was spied upon after the January 20 inauguration.
In a nutshell, the Obama Administration used the intelligence community to attempt a penetration and subversion of the presidential campaign of the opposing party. When that failed, they used a special prosecutor to divert attention away from that activity, scuttle the work of the new president, and clean up the evidence of what had been done to him and his team. The former intelligence leadership of the Obama Administration continued to spy illegally on Donald Trump and his closest advisers after they had moved into the White House.
Obama and his deep state supporters attempted a “coup” to undo the will of the American people.
Kearn SCHEMM says
What was done in the 2016 election and aftermath should be a warning to all Americans about how far so called “controls” on domestic spying can and were subverted. Let us hope the IG of the DoJ explores these issues and the DoJ investigates them for possible (probable) criminal violations.

Hmm, the ST. CLOUD newspaper seems to disagree about the numbers.
It’s almost like FactCheck has a political bias.
Political bias on the LEFT? Noooooo, say it ain’t so!!!!!!!!
Jack Trump says
Well this article in the St. Cloud paper is written aprox 2 years after Omar was elected. With the way extended families have been allowed to stream in, and the relaxation on African nation immigration, such a reported increase and change in the # of Somalis is certainly believable.
I have no idea where Ms. Bender got her info, so I make no comment on that.
As far as the number of Somalis stated by this paper and reported also by Fact Check, it appears the numbers are rather accurate according to a few official government collectors of such information. So it doesn’t matter what political persuasion any reporter fits. To me, the one thing that makes all of this sort of a mute point for all of us ? The % of voters that voted for Omar. I’m sure I’m capable of misquoting the voter results, but if I remember correctly, Omar got approximately 85% of the vote in her district. So it does not matter how many Somalis are there. She won by a freaking landslide and a half. She buried her competition. Her margin of victory was not created by registered Somali voters. It was created by Minnesotans who’d been there long before the first Somali ever showed up. The results make me wonder how the republicans could have pit such a freaking loser up against her. Omar’s competition must have created huge problems for him or herself.
Jack Trump says
I am not a fan of Ilhan Omar. I do not like the irresponsible and racist ways she speaks against many, and supports her own. HOWEVER Fact Check does appear to have debunked some misinformation here. It is a sad shame that anyone would lie and misinform us in order to make an invalid point. I am not at all saying that is what Deborah Bender did here. What I am saying is that those that misled her, and many others like them, should stop the lying and the misinformation.

That would have to be the Russians, they’re the ones doing that kind of **** over here.
Or at least that is what the Mullet Report says they’re doing.
And SHRIEKER of the House Nancy “Looney-Tunes” Pelosi was saying much the same thing in an article in THE HILL entitled “Pelosi promises ‘ironclad case’ against Trump” by Reid Wilson on 1 June 2019, where she blames it on Trump, to wit:
Addressing the California Democratic Party’s annual convention in her home district, Pelosi cited former special counsel Robert Mueller’s report into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
“In his report, special counsel Mueller warned us in the starkest terms that there was an attack on our election and an attack on our democracy,” Pelosi said.
“Why won’t the president defend us from this attack?”
“What is the president covering up?” she asked.
“We must investigate the president’s welcoming of the assault on our democracy.”
end quotes
Frankly, I think the poor woman has completely lost her marbles and has gone irrrevocably around the bend with that spew of gibberish, but there you have it – its Trump’s fault because he’s welcoming that assault you are talking about on our democracy, and you can take that right to the bank because Nancy “Barmy As All Get-Out” Pelosi said it is so.

Hey Mike, what makes you think that the SCTimes didn’t get their information from the same place Bender did?
I didn’t think you were that gullible. One article doesn’t make it true.
Mike Kuzma, Jr. says
JT, from the article-and why did FactCheck NOT get the same info?
“Nearly 74,000 people in Minnesota speak Somali, according to new estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau.
For the first time, the bureau separated out some African languages, including Somali, which had previously been counted in one category. ”
And let’s not forget that FactCheck is an arm of the Annenberg Policy Institute. You know who had their first big community organizer job with API?
BHO.
So forgive me for doubting their impartiality.
Jack Trump says
While all this was going on, Obama wanted to make sure his “legacy” was properly saved for all the world to see. So he conspired with his Mayor of Chicago buddy to steal many acres of a lake waterfront park from one of the poorest black areas of Chicago. Took their park to build his library. Took a great part of the one place where poor folks can get some relief from the difficulties of their lives. Plans to wall them off from entrance to that park with many lanes of a new road being built to deliver cars to his library. All because he’s such a great man whose ideals we should follow, and all because he’s the perfect example of black on black crime in this country.
But don’t vote for Trump because he finds everyone work, helps them find a future, and calls D.C. the swamp that it has been for decades. He’s an irreverent plain talking man who tries to find results and solutions while he takes your wallet. WAKE UP. They all take our wallets, but with him we’re getting a better return.
All the while our complicit press helps cover for all the crimes the dems have committed. The rebound has begun and the new A.G. is heading in the right direction.

Obama was using the Justice Department and FBI to obstruct justice concerning Bill and Hillary Clinton using the State Department as a cash cow to enrich themselves, and to understand that, it is necessary to go back and back in time to its beginnings with an NBC News story entitled “Obama asks donors to help Clinton with debt – Presumptive nominee’s rival loaned her own campaign at least $10 million” on 6/24/2008, where we had as follows:
WASHINGTON — Democrat Barack Obama on Tuesday asked his finance team to help Hillary Rodham Clinton pay off a debt of at least $10 million from her failed presidential campaign, setting the stage for joint appearances by the two former rivals later in the week.
In a teleconference with his top fundraisers Tuesday afternoon, Obama asked them to do what they could to help Clinton, according to two Democrats familiar with the call.
A campaign spokesman confirmed that Obama had asked them to help the former first lady.
“Some of our donors have asked and Barack said if they have the ability to raise or give money to help on debt, we encourage them to do so,” spokesman Robert Gibbs said.
Obama’s green light to his money bundlers came two days before he and Clinton were scheduled to meet in Washington with some of her top fundraisers in a show of unity after their bruising contest for the Democratic presidential nomination.
On Friday, the two planned to campaign together in New Hampshire.
Obama clinched the nomination earlier this month; Clinton suspended her campaign and endorsed him.
The former first lady reported a $22.5 million debt at the end of May, more than half of which was a personal loan to her presidential campaign.
Clinton, in a call to her top fundraisers last week, said she would concentrate on paying off money owed to vendors, not her personal loans.
end quotes
At that time, if we recall; our own history, not only was Hillary broke, and it is interesting that she had enough petty cash stashed away somewhere to loan herself some $11 million dollars, but there was a lot of enmity between Obama and the Clintons, which the fledgling Obama could ill afford, which will lead us to an article in The Telegraph entitled “Barack Obama to appoint Hillary Clinton secretary of state ‘next week’ – President-elect Barack Obama is on track to nominate Hillary Rodham Clinton as secretary of state as early as next week, according to reports” on 21 Nov 2008, to wit:
One week after the former rivals for the White House met secretly to discuss the idea of Ms Clinton becoming the nation’s top diplomat, the two sides were moving quickly toward making it a reality, barring any unforeseen problems.
Mr Obama is on track to nominate her after next Thursday’s Thanksgiving holiday, a transition aide has said.
The aide said the two camps have worked out financial disclosure issues involving Mrs Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, and the complicated international funding of his foundation that operates in 27 countries.
end quotes
As we will see with respect to obstruction of justice by Hussein Obama, that foundation served as a financial boon for Bill Clinton in Russia, where he was buddy-buddy with old Putin himself, the one who rigged the 2016 presidential election to keep Hillary, who had done so much for Mother Russia as secretary of state for Hussein Obama, out of the white house, if you want to believe the Mullet Report narrative, which omits any and all history before 2016.
Getting back to The Telegraph:
The aide said Mr Obama and Ms Clinton have had substantive conversations about the secretary of state job.
Ms Clinton has been mulling the post for several days, but the transition aide’s comments suggested that Mr Obama’s team does not feel she is inclined to turn it down.
Some Democrats and government insiders have questioned whether she is too independent and politically ambitious to be an effective secretary of state.
But Mr Obama is said to admire her talents and experience, as do many other Democrats.
A senior adviser to Obama said the president-elect believes Ms Clinton would bring instant stature and credibility to US diplomatic relations and that the advantages to her serving far outweighed potential downsides.
end quotes
And that curious comment in November of 20o8 about the advantages to Hillary serving as Hussein Obama’s secretary of state far outweighed potential downsides takes us back to the 6/24/2008 NBC News story, where we had as follows:
A mutual benefit
Obama’s finance team has expanded since he secured the nomination earlier this month, providing a broad base of potential assistance to Clinton.
At least 200 fundraisers attended the campaign’s national finance meeting in Chicago last week.
Scores were unable to attend, one participant said.
In urging his top fundraisers to help Clinton, Obama was counting on them to seek out their pool of donors to raise the money in large increments.
Donors who have not contributed to Clinton’s campaign could give up to $2,300 to help her pay off her debts.
It remained to be seen whether Obama would make a similar appeal to his Internet donors, a vast network of small-dollar contributors who helped Obama shatter fundraising records during the primary contests.
As of the end of May, Obama had raised more than $287 million.
Clinton donors had been making a clear case to Obama that he needed to use his fundraising resources to help her get out of the red.
Her national finance co-chair, Hassan Nemazee, told The Associated Press last week that Clinton would be freer to campaign for Obama and raise money for him if she did not have to concentrate on retiring her debt.
Moreover, Nemazee said, it would be easier for Clinton fundraisers who wanted to help Obama to be able to tell former Clinton donors, “Look what Senator Obama has done for Senator Clinton.”
At least one Obama supporter said that message was heard, prompting Obama’s entreaty to his finance team on Tuesday.
end quotes
And out of that, Hillary in November of 2008 was going to be handed what for the Clintons was the very lucrative post of secretary of state.
And while the Clintons milked that cow quite vigorously, Hussein Obama made sure the FBI was kept off their backs.
And now we pause for a station break and a word from our sponsors, but don’t go away for we will be right back with more on an interesting story of how an American president can use his power of office to obstruct justice to enrich the Clintons while making Mother Russia stronger at the expense of the United States of America.

Getting back to this topic, which the Democrats are doing their best to keep our attention focused on by futilely trying to shift our attention elsewhere, it is incandescently clear from the opening statements of the smarmy and unctuous Democrat congressman from Hollywood, California Adam Schiff in a congressional hearing featuring Jimmy Comey back in 2017 that somebody was spying on the Trump campaign, big-time, as we can clearly see in the “Full transcript: FBI Director James Comey testifies on Russian interference in 2016 election – Comey, Rogers testify on alleged Russian interference in U.S. election – Key moments from the House Intelligence Committee hearing with FBI Director James Comey and NSA head Michael Rogers on alleged Russian meddling in U.S. politics” by Washington Post Staff on March 20, 2017, as follows:
SCHIFF: Mr. Chairman, I thank you.
And I also want to thank Director Comey and Admiral Rogers for appearing before us today as the committee holds its first open hearing into the interference campaign waged against our 2016 presidential election.
Last summer at the height of a bitterly contested and hugely consequential presidential campaign, a foreign adversarial power intervened in an effort to weaken our democracy and to influence the outcome for one candidate and against the other.
That foreign adversary was of course Russia and it activated through its intelligence agencies and upon the direct instructions of its autocratic ruler Vladimir Putin, in order to help Donald J. Trump become the 45th president of the United States.
end quotes
Now, it is clear from his opening that Adam Schiff is very much against Donald Trump precisely because of the 2016 presidential election, which the Democrats thought they had in the bag, and it is also clear that Democrat Schiff is shifting the narrative away from the purpose of the hearing, which Chairman Nunes expressed as follows:
NUNES: The committee will come to order.
I would like to welcome our witnesses, director of the FBI, Jim Comey and director of the National Security Agency, Admiral Rogers.
Thank you both for being here today.
Before we begin, I would like to remind our members and witnesses that this is an open hearing.
I recognize the challenge of discussing sensitive national security issues in public.
However, as part of this committee’s investigation into Russian active measures during the 2016 election, it is critical to ensure that the public has access to credible unclassified facts and to clear the air regarding unsubstantiated media reports.
end quotes
Now, consider the date, people, 20 March 2017, which is over two years ago now, and still we are hearing from the Democrats two years later that they still need to hold more hearings to “educate the public,” as if by now we are not already saturated with this bull****, which takes us back to 20 March 2017 and Chairman Nunes as follows:
To our guests in the audience, welcome.
We appreciate you being here.
I now recognize myself for five minutes for the purpose of an opening statement.
The Putin regime has a long history of aggressive actions against other countries, including the outright invasion of two of its neighbors in recent years, as well as its brutal military action in Syria to defend the Assad regime.
But it’s hostile acts take many forms, aside from direct military assaults.
For example, the Kremlin is waging an international disinformation campaign through the RT propaganda network which traffics in anti-American conspiracy theories that rivaled the extravagant untruths of Soviet era Pravda.
Russia also has a long history of meddling in other countries, election systems and launching cyber attacks on a wide range of countries and industries.
The Baltic’s and other Russian neighbors have long decried these attacks.
But their warnings went unheeded in far too many nations’ capitals, including our own.
end quotes
Now, there is what the hearing was supposed to be about before Adam Schiff tried to shift the narrative off of the failures of the Hussein Obama administration to confront the Russians, who Hillary and Bill Clinton were deep in bed with – why the warnings went unheeded in Washington, D.C.
Getting back to Chariman Nunes:
The fact that the Russia — that Russia hacked U.S. election-related databases comes as no shock to this committee.
We have been closely monitoring Russia’s aggression for years.
end quotes
They have been monitoring Russia’s aggression for YEARS, which means this **** in 2016 was nothing new, and they were caught asleep at the switch, which is to be expected of dysfunctional Washington. D.C., which takes us back to Chariman Nunes, as follows:
A year ago, I publicly stated that our inability to predict Putin’s regime plans and intentions has been the biggest intelligence failure that we have seen since 9/11 and that remains my view today.
However, while the indications of Russian measures targeting the U.S. presidential election are deeply troubling, one benefit is already clear.
It has focused wide attention on the — on the pressing threats posed by the Russian autocrat.
In recent years, committee members have issued repeated and forceful pleas for stronger action against Russian belligerents.
But the Obama administration was committed to the notion against all evidence that we could reset relations with Putin.
And it routinely ignored our warnings.
end quotes
There, people, is where that hearing was headed, until Adam Schiff managed to successfully divert it over to Trump.
And what is the significance of that hearing today?
Simply this:
ORDER NO. 3915-2017
APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE WITH THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND RELATED MATTERS
By virtue of the authority vested in me as Acting Attorney General, including 28 U.S.C. §§ 509, 510, and 515, in order to discharge my responsibility to provide supervision and management of the Department of Justice, and to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, I hereby order as follows:

(b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on
March 20, 2017, including:

applicable to the Special Counsel.

end quotes
Note (b) above as follows: The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, which is this same hearing transcript that I am quoting from above, where Chairman Nunes stated as follows, to wit:
I hope today’s hearing will shed light on three important focus points of the committee’s investigation on Russia active measures.
First, what actions did Russia undertake against the United States during the 2016 election campaign and did anyone from political campaign — a political campaign conspire in these activities?
Number two, were the communications of officials or associates of any campaign subject to any kind of improper surveillance?
The intelligence community has — has extremely strict procedures for handling information pertaining to any U.S. citizens who are subject even to incidental surveillance.
And this committee wants to ensure all surveillance activities have followed all relevant laws, rules and regulations.
Let me be clear, I’ve been saying this for several weeks.
We know there was not a physical wiretap of Trump Tower.
However, it’s still possible that other surveillance activities were used against President’s Trump and his associates.
Number three, who has leak classified information?
Numerous current and former officials have leak purportedly classified information in connection to these questions.
We aim to determine who has leaked or facilitated leaks of classified information so that these individuals can be brought to justice.
I hope that this committee’s bipartisan investigation will result in a definitive report on the Russian actions taken during the election campaign.
To that end, we encourage anyone who has information about these topics to come forward and speak to the House Intelligence Committee.
I again think the witnesses for helping shed light on these issues.
And I will let recognize Ranking Member Schiff.
He’s asked for 15 minutes for his opening statement, so I will go ahead and give him 15 minutes for his opening statement.
end quotes
So where that started to go, and where it ended up going are two totally separate things now, since none of what Chairman Nunes stated right above here ever did get investigated, and to the contrary got buried by the Mullet on behalf of the Democrats, so stay tuned, for this show is just getting on the road with much more yet to come.
Paul Plante says
The dictionary defines a “patsy” as “a person who is easily taken advantage of, especially by being cheated or blamed for something,” and in this case, based on my review of all the evidence to date, whatever else can be said about him, Trump was the perfect patsy in what very much appears to be a perfect political ambush that Trump walked into face-first, effectively giving control of the course of his presidency over to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the Democrat party.
Whatever possessed Trump to appoint Rod Rosenstein deputy attorney general will likely end up being one of those unsolved mysteries of the Old West, but by doing so, he put his neck right into the noose that the Democrats are now using to try and hang him, which takes us back to the 20 March 2017 hearing before the House Intelligence Committee that the smarmy and unctuous Democrat from Hollywood, California Adam Schiff is now the chairman of, and this set of statements by then-Committee chairman Nunes, as follows:
In recent years, committee members have issued repeated and forceful pleas for stronger action against Russian belligerents.
But the Obama administration was committed to the notion against all evidence that we could reset relations with Putin.
And it routinely ignored our warnings.
end quotes
And that talk of the famous “Obama/Clinton reset” takes us back to a NATIONAL REVIEW article entitled “Russian Collusion, Clinton $tyle” by Deroy Murdock on March 27, 2018, where we had this necessary background, to wit:
In contrast, Team Mueller studiously ignores something more conspicuous than the iridescent onion domes atop Red Square’s St. Basil’s Cathedral: Private interests that closed deals with Vladimir Putin and his agents — thanks to then–secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s public favors — gave the Clinton Foundation between $152 million and $173 million.
Donations to the Clinton Foundation were, in essence, gift-wrapped presents for the Clintons.
Hillary’s March 2009 button-pushing “Russian reset” ceremony with Moscow’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, triggered this particular bonanza.
Hillary captured its essence in March 2010 when she told former Soviet propagandist Vladimir Pozner on First Channel TV: “Our goal is to help strengthen Russia.”
end quotes
Said the way it should be said, Hillary’s goal was to sell out America to the Russians in turn for the Russians making Hillary and Bill Clinton filthy rich, which takes us to p. 49 of “Clinton Cash” by Schweizer , copyright 2015, for a look at the dividends Hillary’s Russian Reset to “strengthen Russia” paid back to Hillary and Bill Clinton, which in their case, was perfectly alright, because they are good Democrats, to wit:
There were all sorts of warning signs about Russia’s push into the uranium market.
For example, the US International Trade Commission was in the midst of a large investigation into allegations dating as far back as 1991 that Russia was dumping uranium on US markets to damage the American uranium industry.
In early 2010 Admiral Dennis Blair, the director of national intelligence, appeared before a congressional committee and warned about the perils of doing business with state-owned entities in Russia, stating that “criminally-linked oligarchs will enhance the ability of state or state-allied actors to undermine competition in gas, oil, aluminum, and precious metal markets.”
He didn’t name specific Russian entities involved, but referred to the problem as “a growing nexus in Russian and Eurasian states among governments, organized crime, intelligence services and big business figures.”
He indicated that the United States needed to address the Russian instances of “bribery, fraud, violence and corrupt alliances with state actors to gain the upper hand against legitimate businesses.”
In the midst of this complex and controversial transaction which would require cabinet-level approval, a small Canadian investment company named Salida Capital became intimately involved with the Clinton Foundation.
According to Canadian tax records, Salida Capital received in 2010 an anonymous donation of $3.3 million into their charitable foundation (Salida Capital Foundation), which allowed the tiny firm to make the dramatic announcement that it would contribute millions to the Clinton Foundation.
In 2010 it donated $780,220 to the Clinton Foundation.
This amounted to about 90 percent of all Salida’s charitable giving that year.
It was part of a multi-million dollar commitment that would send more than $2.6 million to the Clintons between 2010 and 2012.
Salida Capital also co-sponsored a speech by Bill Clinton on May 21, 2010, in Calgary, Canada.
While the speech was publicly listed by the Clintons as an event for “The Power Within,” a Canadian motivational-speaking organization, according to State Department documents filed by Bill Clinton’s office, sponsors for the event included Salida Capital.
Salida Capital invests in natural resource companies, including several in the Russian-dominated portions of Ukraine.
In 2010, when Salida moved aggressively into the Ukrainian market, their chief business partner in the country happened to be the personal advisor to Energy Minister Yuri Boyko, who helped create the trading company Vladimir Putin used to control the Ukrainian natural gas trade.
Boyko was described in a confidential State Department cable as being “very close to Russia” and as the “point of contact for the Kremlin” on energy dealings in the country.
In 2011 a company named Salida Capital would be identified in a Rosatom annual report as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Russian state nuclear agency.
Is it the same firm?
There is compelling evidence that it is, but we cannot say for sure.
I contacted Salida Capital in Toronto on three occasions and provided it with the opportunity to deny that it is connected to the Salida Capital listed as a subsidiary of Rosatom.

The timing of events raises questions.
If it were the same firm, an entity owned and controlled by Rosatom funneled millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation at the very time Hillary would have been involved in deciding whether to approve Rosatom’s purchase of Uranium One.
But the Clinton’s fortune didn’t end there.
In June, shortly after the Rosatom deal was announced, Bill was in Moscow for a particularly well-compensated speech.
He was paid $500,000 to deliver remarks at an event organized by a firm called Renaissance Capital (RenCap).
Bill has not given a speech in Russia in over five years and then it had been for a British firm, Adam Smith International.
His pay for that speech was only $195,000.
RenCap, which is registered in Cyprus, is populated by former Russian intelligence officers with close ties to Putin.
In correspondence with the State Department seeking approval for the speech, Clinton’s office simply describes the firm as “an investment bank focusing on emerging markets.”
According to Businessweek, when Putin became president of Russia in 2000, RenCap “hired several executives with connections to the Kremlin and Russian intelligence service, now known as the FSB (Russian Domestic Intelligence Service).”
Yuri Kobaladze, executive director at the firm, served for thirty-two years as a KGB and SVR (the foreign intelligence arm of the Russian government) officer, retiring at the rank of general.
Yuri Sagaidak, the deputy general director at RenCap, was a colonel in the KGB.
Vladimir Dzhabarov served simultaneously as an officer in the FSB and first vice president at RenCap from 2006 to 2009.
RenCap was also watching the Uranium One deal.
Only three weeks before Clinton’s speech, on May 27, RenCap had been pushing Uranium One stock.
“We believe the company is well positioned to provide impressive volume growth in the global sector and play the uranium spot price recovery,” RenCap wrote in a twenty-eight-page report on the company.
It actively encouraged investors to buy the stock.
Clinton’s hour-long, half-million dollar speech on the theme of Russia “going global” was followed by a plenary session that included Renaissance Capital executives and senior Russian government officials.
During his Moscow visit, Bill also met with Putin himself.
Just days earlier the FBI had made a series of arrests, breaking up a Russian spy ring.
Ten sleeper agents, using encrypted data transferred through digital images, invisible ink, and a sophisticated system for transferring information by switching bags at a train station in Queens, had been broken up.
Among the spy ring’s targets: a leading fundraiser for Hillary who also happened to be a Clinton friend.
A Russian sleeper agent named “Cynthia Murphy” was instructed “to single out tidbits unknown publicly but revealed in private by sources close to State Department.”
According to the FBI, intercepted communications showed that the chief assignment of the ring would be to “search and develop ties in policy-making circles in U.S.”
When Bill sat down with Putin, it didn’t take long for the subject of Russian espionage to come up.
“You have come to Moscow at the exact right time,” Putin told the former American president, according to the New York Times.
Waving a finger at him, Putin continued, “Your police have gotten carried away, putting people in jail.”
In response, Clinton “appeared to chuckle.”
Clinton and Putin had a close relationship.
President Boris Yeltsin first appointed Putin prime minister in 1999, while Bill was still president, and they had remained in contact ever since.
In January 2009, while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Bill had gone to Putin’s private party at the Sheraton, where he was greeted by the Russian leader as “our good friend” before cheering him with vodka shots.
The pair then headed off to a private room where they talked “deep into the night.”
In September 2013, as the Ukrainian crisis built, Clinton offered what the Russian news agency RIA Novosti called “Rare U.S. Praise for Putin” on CNN.
Clinton described the Russian leader as “very smart” and “brutally blunt.”

Yes, people, it really does make a difference what your name is, when it comes to what you can get away with, and what you can’t.

Trump may be a deal maker on some level, but when it comes to dirty politics, compared to Hillary Clinton and Hussein Obama, who themselves were thick as thieves with the Russians, and who are in the BIG LEAGUES in that field of sport, Trump at best was some dude who was known as a long-ball hitter in T-ball who couldn’t make the switch to Little League because he couldn’t hit fast pitching.
Consider this enigmatic entry from the Wikipedia site of Rod Jay Rosenstein, born January 13, 1965, the American attorney who served as United States Deputy Attorney General from April 26, 2017 to May 11, 2019, to wit:
President Trump nominated Rosenstein to serve as Deputy Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice on February 1, 2017.
He was one of the 46 United States Attorneys ordered on March 10, 2017, to resign by Attorney General Jeff Sessions; Trump declined his resignation.

What the hell was up with that, people, given Rosenstein’s connections to Obama attorney general Eric Himpton Holder, Jr., who himself was the subject of a Reason magazine article entitled “3 Reasons Why Eric Holder Is the Perfect Presidential Candidate for the Democratic Party (Though Not America)” by Matt Welch two years ago on 6.22.2017, shortly after Trump gained the White House and appointed Holder’s protege Rosenstein to be Deputy Attorney General, as follows:
In the wake of Tuesday night’s hope-crushing defeat of House candidate Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s special congressional runoff election, the Democratic Party is once again casting about for the ideal political archetype in this fallen, Trumpified world of ours.
As fate would have it, Yahoo News floated a suggestion just hours before Ossoff’s rebuke: “Eric Holder joins the anti-Trump resistance — and mulls a presidential campaign of his own.”
From the article:
“Up to now, I have been more behind-the-scenes,” Holder told Yahoo News in an exclusive interview about his plans.
“But that’s about to change.”
“I have a certain status as the former attorney general.”
“A certain familiarity as the first African-American attorney general.”
“There’s a justified perception that I’m close to President Obama.”
“So I want to use whatever skills I have, whatever notoriety I have, to be effective in opposing things that are, at the end of the day, just bad for the country.[…]”
“If opposition is to be the course — and it must be — we must recognize and remember that the power of the American people has been too often underestimated.”
“Once roused we are a mighty force.”

So, Holder is tight with Hussein Obama, and Rod Rosenstein is tight with Holder, and yest, there is Trump handing his political future off to Rod Rosenstein, a move made even stranger by a news story on NOWCAST WBAL-TV 11 News Today entitled “Rod Rosenstein confirmed as deputy attorney general – Longtime Maryland federal prosecutor will be second in command at the Justice Department” by Ron Snyder, Digital Editor and Adam May, Anchor/Reporter on Apr. 26, 2017, as follows:
WASHINGTON — The Senate has confirmed U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein as the next deputy attorney general.
The Senate voted Tuesday 94-6 to confirm Rosenstein.
Rosenstein has spent nearly 12 years serving as Maryland’s top federal prosecutor.
Rosenstein’s confirmation comes after Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from any investigations into Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election.
“He’s not a partisan guy,” Baltimore police Commissioner Kevin Davis said of Rosenstein recently.
“I’ve had many conversations with Rod over the last decade and none of those conversations have we spoken about what’s politically expedient.”
U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Maryland, released a statement, saying:
“Rod Rosenstein has committed his life to public service.”
“He has served the people of Maryland well and I expect that he will serve the country well as Deputy Attorney General. I was pleased to support his nomination and I am pleased that we will have someone of his maturity and integrity at such a high level in the U.S. Department of Justice.”
“On a national level, we have seen Rod as a prosecutor who has handled extremely sensitive cases and makes his decisions based on the law and evidence.”
“I have full confidence that Rod will call it like he sees it without regard to partisan or political considerations, and that he will continue to uphold his oath to support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States.”
“This is especially vital with a president and administration that has tested our Constitution, in terms of the separation of powers, checks and balances in our system, independence of the judiciary, and First Amendment freedom of the press, just to name a few issues in its first 100 days.”
“I also believe that Rod would make the right decision should the President, White House official, or any other government official ask him to take an improper action, or not follow his best judgment as to the facts and law in a case.”
The task to investigate the Russian issue will fall on Rosenstein.

Reading that, you really have to wonder how it was that of all the people he could choose to be the Deputy Attorney General, he ended up with Rod Rosenstein, who Democrat U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin from Maryland in 2017 was praising as someone who would stand up to what the Democrats see as all of Trump’s misdeeds.
Did Trump have some type of Freudian subliminal political death-wish, perhaps?
For all the good it did him saving Rosenstein from having to resign, and then appointing him Deputy Attorney General, Trump would have been just as well off appointing Eric Holder as his attorney general and Hillary Clinton as his deputy attorney general.
They say politics make for strange bedfellows, but these are some of the strangest I have seen in my lifetime, and that is saying something, given the doozies we have had before this.
A friend says
As a drunken enraged Hillary Clinton famously said to John Podesta on election night when Donald Trump won, “If that F**king bastard wins, you better do something about this or we’ll all hang from nooses.”

And that clattering sound is the house of cards the Democrats built on shifting sand with all of this “Russia Probe” horse**** they have been feeding us since 2017 which led to the Mullet Report, and from there to where we are right now, and here, I am referring to a Washington Examiner article entitled “Nunes claims second Mueller scope memo based on Steele dossier” by by Jerry Dunleavy on June 20, 2019, where we had as follows:
The ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee revealed more details about the now-concluded special counsel investigation’s guidelines, saying on Thursday that Mueller’s second scope memo was based on the unverified Steele dossier nearly in its entirety.
Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., told Fox News he’d reviewed still-classified materials related to then-Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s memos outlining the breadth of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigation.
He said the bulk of the information in the second scope memo came from the dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele, the former MI6 agent who was hired by the opposition research firm Fusion GPS through funding from the Clinton campaign and the DNC during the 2016 presidential campaign.
end quotes
Now, that is an important development in this on-going political farce being presented to us by the Democrat party in their concerted effort to destroy Trump, and with him the Republican party, which is exactly the result that Putin wanted, which takes us back to the Washington Examiner article as follows:
The second scope memo, which was kept secret for many months and is still mostly redacted, was written by Rosenstein in August 2017, months after the first.
In it, Rosenstein told Mueller that the first memo “was worded categorically in order to permit its public release without confirming specific investigations involving specific individuals” while this second scope memo “provides a more specific description of your authority” and was meant to outline which allegations “were within the scope of the investigation at the time of your appointment and are within the scope of the order.”
The second scope memo also laid out a number of yet-unknown investigative targets.
end quotes
In other words, the secret second scope memo authorized the political witch hunt that Trump has been complaining about, and rightfully so.
And the Steele dossier, which was the basis of the secret scope memo, itself has now been discredited, so the efforts of the Democrats to take down Trump are now seen to be floundering, which I think is a good thing and a healthy thing for the nation to have happen – the public humiliation of the Democrats as their house of cards come tumbling down and their lies since 2017 are now being exposed for what they always were.
Jack Trump says
None of this Russian hoax is healthy for this nation, and none of it is the best thing that could happen. I have said this before and I will say it again here. Greg Jarrett wrote an awesome book. It was # 1 on The N.Y. Times bestseller list for a very long time. It is titled “The Russia Hoax. The Illicit Scheme to clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump. 2 or 3, or 5 paragraphs stated here will never enlighten you to the horror of the situation. Stephen King couldn’t make this storyline up. The Swamp had put the fix in for Ms. Clinton to become the president. It is horrible and disgusting to have so many of their illegal plans and cover ups laid out for you eyes to read and your brain to sadly absorb. Good Luck ever having faith in Washington D.C. again. Until they fully take down all these characters involved in this disgusting abuse of power and their offices, we can only continue to expect the same dribble coming from their mouths and their offices over and over again. Their obvious demonstrations of managing our government for their own gain in every way possible is a very sad testament to the way The United States has been hijacked by a very organized gang of carpetbaggers. May heaven help us all.
Paul Plante says
The problem with books, Jack, is that we live in a day and age where people do not read, and in many cases, lack the ability to do so, to make a string of words make sense, so this book likely won’t get read all that much now, for the reason that people are simply sick of this **** Hillary and Bill Clinton have been able to get away with at the expense of this nation.
I am trying to get through “Clinton Cash” by Peter Schweitzer, myself, and believe me, it is a struggle, because reading about Hillary Clinton selling out America to the Russians makes me want to throw up in my mouth it is so disgusting and revolting.
And in the light of that excerpt posted above from Clinton Cash about the bromance between Bill Clinton and Putin in Russia, this whole silly narrative being peddled by the Democrats and their media allies the New York Times and the Washington Post about Trump being a Russian dupe has its wheels coming off, which will humiliate and discredit the Democrats, hopefully for a long time to come, and that will be good for the nation for that to happen, and publicly so.
I think it is the mutual hope of Bill Clinton and his good buddy Putin that four years of Trump will destroy the Republican party forever, giving total control of our national government to the Democrats who can then institute socialism at will and get us on the road to world communism.
That narrative makes a whole lot more sense that this horse**** about Trump being a Russian stooge.
As to reading books, that I do, but I also do my own research as I like to read the original sources, not what some book might say about them, and right now, in the light of recent developments in Washington, D.C. where the secret second scope memo from Rosenstein to the Mullet has just surfaced, making it look very much like the wheels coming off a very carefully-managed cover-up by the Democrats as to the illegitimacy of the Mueller Report, which is based on the now-discredited Steele dossier paid for by the Democrats in n effort to discredit Trump, the most important original source is the transcript of FBI Director James Comey testifying on Russian interference in 2016 election before the House Intelligence Committee hearing with FBI Director James Comey and NSA head Michael Rogers on alleged Russian meddling in U.S. politics on
March 20, 2017, as it was from that testimony by Comey at that hearing that resulted in Rod Rosenstein having such a serious conflict of interest that it was in the best interests of we, the people, to have Rosenstein appoint the Mullet, who had a serious conflict of interest himself that should have disqualified him, as a special prosecutor over the sitting president of the United States of America based on what we are now seeing were bull**** charges, all along.
And personally, I think it is very healthy for both America and the world that the on-going story of this Democrat cover-up melt-down is being told in here in serial form, which makes it a lot easier for people to follow as opposed to having to read a book, which is about the past, while the story is unfolding around them right now, today.

“Attorney for Clinton campaign indicted in U.S. Trump-Russia probe”
By Sarah N. Lynch
September 16, 2021
WASHINGTON, Sept 16 (Reuters) – An attorney who represented Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign was indicted on Thursday for lying to the FBI, as part of U.S. Special Counsel John Durham’s probe into origins of the FBI’s investigation of ties between Russia and former President Donald Trump’s campaign.
Michael Sussmann, a partner with Perkins Coie who also represented the Democratic National Committee in connection with Russia’s hack of the organization, is accused of making false statements during a Sept. 19, 2016 meeting with former FBI General Counsel James Baker.
Trump, a Republican, portrayed the 2016 FBI investigation as part of a witch hunt against him.
In the indictment, Sussmann is accused of falsely telling Baker he did not represent any client when he met him to give the FBI white papers and other data files containing evidence of questionable cyber links between the Trump Organization and a Russian-based bank.
The indictment alleges that Sussmann had turned over this information not as a “good citizen” but as an attorney representing a U.S. technology executive, an internet company and Clinton’s presidential campaign.
The indictment says the technology executive client who helped assemble the data Sussmann presented to the FBI had “exploited his access to non-public data at multiple Internet companies to conduct opposition research concerning Trump.”
The FBI investigated, but ultimately concluded there was insufficient evidence of a “secret communications channel” between the Trump organization and the bank.
The indictment alleges that some other materials Sussmann handed over to the FBI included a paper prepared by an investigative firm.
The indictment does not identify the firm, but a second source familiar with the events told Reuters it is Fusion GPS, the Washington, D.C. based firm that hired former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to conduct opposition research on Trump on behalf of the Clinton campaign.
Steele went on to produce a controversial 35 page “dossier” purporting to outline Trump links and dealings with Russia and Russians.
