Lynwood Lewis defeats Willie Randall in Dem Primary

6th district Senator Lynwood Lewis defeated Willie Randall and will be the Democrat in November’s General Election. Lewis received 72% of the overall vote, but the race was marginally close in Northampton, 521 to 421:

Accomack County was stronger for Lewis, where he carried the county 1,190 to 516 votes.

Norfolk gave Lewis 2,534 votes to Randall’s 894 votes. Matthews County went to Lewis 257 to 45.
