Northampton County will hold a public hearing on May 24, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. to review the Equalized Tax Rate. The Board of Supervisors is proposing a tax rate of $0.785 per $100 of assessed value. The current real estate tax rate is .835 cents per $100 on the total assessed value of real property.
The BoS is also looking to lower the personal property tax rate from $3.90 to $3.60 per $100.
