Results from the Michigan recount in the corruption-riddled city of Detroit after the 2016 general election did show systemic fraud: Voting machines in more than 33% of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have during the presidential election.
Office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Gaarrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37%, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. Yes, 37%.
Sources think the extra votes could be Illegals and double voting.
Democrat Hillary Clinton overwhelmingly prevailed in Detroit and Wayne County. There was no request for a recount. State records show 10.6% of the precincts in the 22 counties that began the re-tabulation process couldn’t be recounted because of state law that bars recounts for unbalanced precincts or ones with broken seals.
The problems were the worst in Detroit, where discrepancies meant officials couldn’t recount votes in 392 precincts, and nearly 60% of those precincts had too many votes.
That accounts for over half of the precincts that were guilty of some form of election fraud.
This refusal to enforce the law came despite a 2012 study from the Pew Center on the States estimating that 1 out of every 8 voter registrations is inaccurate, out of date, or a duplicate.
About 2.8 million people are registered in more than one state, according to the PEW study. And, 1.8 million registered voters are dead.
In most places, it’s easy to vote under the names of such people with little risk of being caught with current laws. A 2011 study by professors at Old Dominion University and George Mason University used extensive survey data to estimate that 6.4% of the people here illegally voted in 2008 and 2.2% voted 2010.
If you ever wondered why the 2016 election was as close as it was, well there you have it.
