Historians have considered the Presidential election contest of 1824 as the dirtiest in our history. Media (newspapers) said Jackson’s dead mother was a whore and begat children with mulattos .His wife was so distraught at reading in newspapers that she was an adulteress, she took to bed and soon died. Newspapers were so biased Jackson supporters established their own papers. While Jackson had a plurality of popular and electoral votes, lacking any candidate having a majority, the 12th Amendment required the decision be passed to the House. In the House Henry Clay, who had been a candidate threw his support to John Quincy Adams, who then appointed Clay Secretary of State as Clay wanted. This is known as the “corrupt bargain” which denied Jackson the Presidency.
Jackson was angry, bitter, and believed the establishment elite had conspired to deny him the Presidency. He vowed to run again and won the 1828 and 1832 elections making Adams a one term President. Jackson is considered the founder of the Democrat Party, there are 6 portraits of him in the White House, and the monument to him across the street in Lafayette Park has become the object of hate and destruction of left wing mobs.
Richard Nixon was, arguably, the most hated President, after Trump. Media began its hatred of Nixon when he said a Democrat running against him in his first Senate bid, was soft on communism. Nixon served as Vice President for two terms under Eisenhower (1954-1961), lost to John F. Kennedy in I960 in Presidential contest because of fraud of LB Johnson in Texas and a lot of dead people voting in Mayor Daley’s Chicago. He was urged to contest and demand recount but declined as he thought was bad for country and had never been done before. He ran again in 1968 against Hubert Humphrey and won, but the Watergate scandal caused him to resign in second term. I am a personal witness to media hatred of Nixon as I worked in Washington and have vivid memories of Herb Block’s’ cartoons in Washington Post every day. Everything he did was reported negatively as with Trump. Even today his establishment of the Environmental Protection Agency, ending the Viet man War,, and fact that every president until he died sought and valued his advice and counsel. Historians have recognized Nixon’s important accomplishments, but the left has only ignored, vilified, and hated.
Just as in the time of Jackson and of Nixon, we now have an absolutely biased media. that cannot claim any pretense to journalistic integrity. It is advocacy journalism at best. The corrupt bargain today is between Main Street Media ( CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS NBC, Washington Post, Huff Post, NYT, , etc…etc), the political establishment, Wall Street globalists, and the administrative/deep state. Each has an interest that is not serving the people of America well and the intersectionality of those interests threatens the foundation of our constitutional republic.
The Main Street Media has corrupted reporting of news by fake news reporting and not reporting news that does not agree with their leftist political agenda, as evinced by 95 % reporting of news about Trump is negative and refusal to report anything positive. The left’s political establishment has, in concert with MSM, had no interest other than trying to remove Trump from office, endless investigations, totally partisan impeachment, and, of course, establishing a Democrat Socialist State. Globalists on Wall St. have contributed hundreds of millions to Democrat party while they care nothing for the Socialist progressive agenda. Their interest is not America, its workers, and they care nothing about where things are made. The interest of the Deep state is only to assert that they only know best how to run the country and regulate all behavior of citizens and their interest. This is todays corrupt bargain.
There are parallels between the times of Jackson and Nixon an d now Trump, In Washington, this is called blood sport and media follows then as now then the time-honored tradition of “ if it bleeds, it leads.

He who refuses to learn the lessons of history soon repeats them. I’ve said that in here before. Too many voting rules being broken, and too much transparency denied. Of course only in areas where the entire voting process was mired in muck. That was the plan. The more muck there is the harder it is to wade through it. It is not a coincidence that this happened in democrat controlled towns/cities. They learned their lesson in Florida in 2000. It was hard to hard to change the result in 1 area. So they learned if they mucked it up in Pa, Nevada, Az, N.C, Georgia, Michigan etc etc, there was just gonna be too much for anyone to stop the fix. It is simply impossible to see what really happened, and that is the fix.
It’s a very sad day for America.
If you think I am being a sore loser, you are wrong. I am not. I will support the next President. I simply recognize that the process was not protected. It was smeared and knifed in the back many times. It was indeed disturbed, and not by Russians, but by a party that was not interested in protecting the process. So just how am I supposed to believe they will protect me ?
