Hi I am Dinah. I am a 6-year-old Jack Russell/ Chihuahua mix. I am a little overweight for my size, weighing it at 25 pounds. I take a few seconds to warm up to a stranger, but once I do, I will spend a lot of my time throwing myself on my back for sweet belly rubs.
I am mostly a couch potato, but probably a little to heavy to get up there. I’ve been the only dog in the home for a while, so I may get along with other dogs. But a home where most of the attention is centered on me will probably be preferable.
I am affectionate and cute. I like to sit at your feet and adore your attention and affection.
I have been around children so I should do okay in a home with them. I am smart and inquisitive, and once I like you, I am sold on you.
If you think you may be interested in adopting Dinah, you can stop by the shelter any Tuesday-Saturday from 10a.m.-2:30p.m. for a kennel walk-through. (We have no same-day adoptions, and an approved adoption application is required to be scheduled for a meet and greet.)
