Pet of the Week: Meet Kassady!

Hi, I am Kassady, the sweetest little Shih Tzu you’d ever want to meet. I just turned 10 years old. My parents took really good care of me, and I was groomed and fully vetted before my arrival at the SPCA. I am in very good health. I do have cherry eye in one eye, but it is currently just cosmetic and doesn’t seem to bother me.

I have a very friendly and happy-go-lucky attitude. I don’t seem to know strangers of any species. I greet people in the office here at the shelter quite frequently and had a good time meeting everyone at an event I went to representing the shelter. I enjoy my little bed and a blanket, but I’m not really into toys.

I am 100% food driven and motivated. It seems I wasn’t denied anything my family was eating, so there is no shame in my game on begging for some of your food.

I will need occasional grooming for the remainder of my life. I am very happy and interactive.

I would love to meet you and get to be friends. Just stop by the shelter during visiting hours (10:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday).
