Hi, I’m Louie and I’m a sweet boy. I’m shepherd/husky mix, with maybe some hound in there too. I’m only about 1 year old and weigh 50 lbs, so I may put on a little more weight.
This picture does not show just how gorgeous I am in person, so stop by and see me for yourself.
I’m still getting used to being inside, so most noises spook me a little. Because of this and my size, I’m better suited to a home with no small children.
I tested negative for heartworms and have started prevention, am up to date on vaccines and have been neutered.

Great, valuable post! More than ten years ago I rescued Louie’s “twin”. along with his more glamorous black/white sister. The sister was adopted to a good home in New Jersey. I kept Louie’s twin, whom I named “Home Boy”. Though never having been inside, he gravitated to my bed and has slept next to me every night since. Oddly, he’s remained slim, unlike most of my other hounds. These kinds of mixed-breed dogs prove to be the most loving, devoted animals.
