Hi I am Bella a 2-year-old lab mix female. I am spayed and am up to date on my vaccines. I am somewhat short in stature, but weigh a compact 55 lbs. I am very clean in my kennel so I was house-trained. I enjoy toys and human contact. I am super smart and know how to sit for a treat, and could easily learn more tricks. I am extremely energetic when I am enjoying my recess outside. I seem to enjoy running up and down the fence with some of the dogs on the other side, so there may be another dog I can get along with in a home. It is uncertain how I would do in a home with cats. I do seem to enjoy the staff’s company when I am outside with them, and I do enjoy treats which could help me learn new manners every day. I should be fine around children with some size to them, but I may be a little much for smaller children as I am learning to not jump up on you in greeting.
Hi, I am Traveler. I earned my name because I am always eager to “travel” with you. As of November 2023 I have spent a year of my life at the Eastern Shore SPCA, still holding out hope for a home. People see me spinning in my kennel on kennel walk-throughs and assume that I am “hyper”, or somehow have to much energy. The truth is that outside that kennel I am one of the most calm, loving, dogs in the shelter.
I have gotten along with every dog I have been paired with for playtime here at the SPCA. It is unsure how I’d do with cats, but I can be cat-tested and most probably would do fine in a home with them. Children and adults alike would get along with me fine. I am around 3 years old, and I am a very skinny male shepherd mix. I weigh in at just 38 pounds and am not very tall. I don’t like being in the kennel very much because I like to burn my energy running in the yard and playing. I am clean in my kennel, though, and l don’t tear up toys and blankets. I am pouring over with love if you meet me beyond the kennel door, and I have so much love to give. I have been in a shelter situation for over a year and I am still just as sweet as the first day I arrived.
