VDOT’s Citizen Information Meeting for the Route 13 Safety Corridor Study will be held Tuesday March 1 from 6pm-7:30pm at the Eastern Shore Community College.
About the Study
The goal of the study is to develop a plan that VDOT and the jurisdictions can implement to make U.S. Route 13 a safer and more efficient transportation facility for the traveling public over the next 20 years. The proposed update study will assess what’s been done, determine what’s left, and if the recommendations remaining are still viable. The focus remains on safety and exploring opportunities to use new technology to enhance safety and operations along the corridor.

A citizen information meeting was held on Tuesday, Tuesday March 1 from 6pm-7:30pm at the Eastern Shore Community College.
The area of interest for this study includes the section of U.S. Route 13 from, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel to U.S. Route 13 Maryland State Line and Route 175 from U.S. Route 13 to town of Chincoteague.
