  1. Follow the money. It doesn’t matter what their tude is, if they spend money we welcome them with open arms, money talks, Walks

  2. To the people of cape Charles: thank you for sharing your sweet small town! I admit, after a beautiful morning on the beach, as I shop for new and old titles at Peach Street Books, then pull up to the bar at Kelly’s or take a photo of the sunset at The Shanty…. I entertain the fantasy that I am really truly a Cape Charles resident. Year after year, I walk through our weekly rental in appreciation of the owner’s style sense , but secretly plan as if it’s my home. I wave back to everyone- as is the custom- and am sometimes a little too loud because our family is having such a great time. Please don’t ruin this feeling…. It’s the joy of stealing away from the realities of our lives- not entitlement.

    1. Well, he didn’t get a ticket for riding and urinating on the beach.
      But Karma got his ass.
He left the beach at a rapid speed, overturned the golf cart and got a nasty road rash.
Oh, he was arrested by the sheriff’s department for drunk in public and made to paid restitution for damages done to the golf cart.
Karma can be a bitch when you’re a tourist in Cape Charles misbehaving.
