The “genocide” debate here is activists trying to seize the high ground after Hamas’s hideous acts. Their hope, after an assault of such barbarity, is to label the response “genocidal” and hope that people chase that shiny lure instead of remembering why this war happened at all.
In America, we are edging closer to 1930s Germany. Are Pogroms next?
When people throw incendiary devices at your home, they are not “activists.” They are terrorists. Please don’t call them anything else but what they are. Arson is a felony. They are walking a fine line on getting an armed response. Once willful arson is involved, a home defender could honestly say he or she felt lives were in danger.
Hard to find a better metaphor for Gaza. They start a war, get their cities blown up, and instead of having to live with the well-deserved consequences of their stupidity and evil, the world rushes in to help them. Appalling.
Hamas has taught an entire generation of Gazans to hate and kill Jewish people. Hamas isn’t the victim. Hamas is the perpetrator. Due to Hamas’s prolonged campaign of indoctrination, the mess in Gaza can’t be eliminated easily or simply by removing a few leaders from power.
