CAPE CHARLES, Va. — The Cape Charles Wetlands & Coastal Dunes Board is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, to review six Joint Permit Applications (JPAs) recently received from the Virginia Marine Resources Commission.
The applications include five requests for walkover/boardwalks and one for a dock. The specific locations for these applications are as follows:
- 604 Carousel Place
- 614 Carousel Place
- 616 Carousel Place
- 620 Carousel Place
- 624 Carousel Place
- 124 Creekside Lane (dock)
While no public hearing is required for these applications, the Wetlands Board will use the meeting to review and discuss them. This provides an opportunity for Board members to examine the details and implications of each application, ensuring they meet all necessary regulatory and environmental standards.
Residents and interested parties can attend the meeting to observe the review process, although no formal public commentary will be solicited.
