  1. Also, what happened to the floating markers that showed where the “drop off” was in the water? I thought that was huge as a safety measure, especially since there is no lifeguard! And, on the access paths to the beach, there are broken railings with splinters and rusty nails!

  2. Civilized society in America is breaking down.

That’s what it looks like in real life, what you have described there.

A useful suggestion would be to get used to it.

Civilization takes work to maintain, and people are just too busy with everything else to do that work.

So you got what you got, and thanks for bringing our attention to it, beforehand, to save us from having to travel any distance just to have a bad experience at the beach in Cape Charles.

    Wildwood, here we come!

  3. Are the toilet facilities still abandoned? They were unusable a couple of months ago. There is no excuse for that.

  4. I don’t know about the toilets, but I do see people using the beach as a personal toilet.
The signs, beach patrol and police officer are a total waste of $56,000.
The police just cruise the beach on the new ATV. I haven’t see the beach patrol do anything except walk the beach. The signs mean nothing to anyone. Tent are everywhere.
Big changes in Cape Charles … but not for the better.

By the way, Kim. Lot 8 was the site of a tragic accident where a little girl was killed. Make sure you tell the buyer that.
