New Roots Garden had about 125 people for this year’s Blessing of the Worms. The officiant was Kelvin Jones from the First Baptist Church of Capeville.
During the event, the children who participated in the garden shared what they love most about the garden, noting, “harvesting cherry tomatoes and seeing how many actually get in the bucket instead of the belly”; “counting money at the farm stand”, “planting carrots”, “weighing what we harvest”
