Hi. My name is Bentley. I am 14 pounds of Big Ear Energy, and I have opinions.

I’m a 2-year-old Chihuahua and terrier mix, and yes, I know—the ears. I know! They pick up satellite signals and also the sound of a snack bag opening from three rooms away. (You have been warned!)

• Older kids=fine

• Quiet home preferred

• No other dogs, please

• Not a cat person

I’ll be real with you: I’m shy at first. Like, really shy. We may need more than one date before I decide you’re worthy of my loyalty. But once you earn it? I’m clingy in the best way. Velcro dog energy. You’ll never pee alone again.

I’m not looking for chaos. I want a cozy couch, a quiet house, someone who will give me their undivided attention, maybe a throw blanket situation. Is that too much to ask? I don’t think so.
