All are invited to our community Science Fair Celebration on January 30th as our 7th and 8th grade students present their projects. We are excited to have 2 educators from the community judge the projects and the students will receive awards based on their hard work. We will have a time of food and celebration afterwards.
Join us for our 1st open house of the new year on February 9th to see how Classical Conversations and homeschooling can work for you. Parents are welcome to bring their children and you may visit the elementary or junior high age classes.
Classical Conversations of the Eastern Shore elementary students finished up this semester with a spectacular Medieval Feast. They had a fantastic spread of food (including squirrel gravy and biscuits!), a picture backdrop, bejeweled goblets and crowns and good friends to share it with. We had a great time celebrating all the kids learned this year.
The Challenge A students (7th-8th grade) have been steadily learning to draw the world map from memory and are about 1/2 way through their science fair projects. They are learning to write persuasive essays and reading some great Literature! They will take their 1st Blue Book assessment on the last day of the semester and celebrate with a “Blue” party, where all the food and decor are blue!
